This band was a great addition to the Los Angeles pop music scene during the mid-to-late 1990's and early 2000's. With a never-quite-settled sound, the pop jewels on this album capture the laid-back, quirky live presence of this fun band. Spielmann writes some of the coolest pop hooks I've ever heard. I've had the pleasure of seeing them quite a few times, and wish they'd release another album!
