This footboard/headboard is a very beautiful addition to my bedroom. It arrived slightly ahead of time and it was very well-packaged. There were no scratches or any damages from shipping when I received it. The metal came with a small dent in the the top of the headboard, but I believe it was just how it was made not damage from shipping. The ding is barely noticeable; I just thoroughly inspect all the items I buy online before deciding whether to keep them or not. It's a little bit unsturdy, but it could also be the cheap bed frame I have hooked up to it. The headboard/footboard is a great deal for the price. The only complaint I really have is that it is not very tall. I have a box spring, a pillowtop mattress, and a mattress topper so the headboard only shows about 11 inches above my mattresses. My pillows end up hiding most of what is visible above my mattress. The picture does show that the mattress they have placed on the footboard/headboard is very low, so I wouldn't say it is a fault on their part. Overall, I would recommend this footboard/headboard to anyone who is tight on money and still wants to have a beautiful addition to their bedroom.
