Just a quick note to tell you that I love this dress. I'm a normal size 12 in jeans, 40C bra size, 12-14 in misses dresses, I ordered a XL and it fits great. It has a bit of stretch to it so don't order it to big if you want a fitted sexy look. I wasn't quite sure if all the runching (esp on the butt) would look right but honestly- it's great. I'm very top heavy and it holds the girls in just fine, and I can wear a real bra with it because the straps are decent (I love that). But my friend also got this dress and is like a B cup and it looks great on her as well. Im ordering it in another color right now because I like it so much. (And because I haven't quite worked off the 5 pounds I gained during christmas lol) This dress is a great rescue for that. Nothing worse than going to a wedding that you're supposed to be enjoying and thinking the whole time "OMG I can't breathe and I fee like a whale-- how many more minutes till I can get this stupid dress off?!"

As for the woman who complained of the workmanship- I don't see any major flaws in mine. The dress obviously doesn't have couture finishes and linings, but I think it's fine. After all, it's a $70 dress. You get what you pay for. And if you're looking for something to wear to a wedding, or a prom- go for it. I don't know about how it'll wear over time, but honestly I don't wear any of these type dresses more than a few times anyway.

And with this dress I won't even be able to get away with it because everyone complimented me on it, and I'm with the same group of people they will probably notice if I wear it again!

The dress was beautiful but when you looked at the dress with a careful eye, we realized that the workmanship was HORRIBLE! The hem was sewn with three different colored threads! The left strap of the dress had a snag on it. I had to send it to the cleaners so they could work on the snag. The hem had lots of loose threads hanging from the dress. However, the dress was so long on her that the hem was not visible. To look at the dress, you could not see the poor workmanship. I ordered the dress late so I had no choice but to keep the dress because I did not have time to shop for another dress. My daughter looked BEAUTIFUL in the dress!

I wrote the company concerning the flaws and a month later, I have not heard from the company! This is a sign of poor customer service which matched the poor workmanship of the dress! You would think that they would have offered an apology or something but it was as though they could care less. However, I must say that my dress did arrive before the prom even though I had ordered it pretty close to the prom date.

The dress does run small. My daughter wears a missy 12/14 so we ordered an X-large. She is a little shorter than 5 feet with the hips being the largest part of her body and the dress fit perfectly around the hips as though it was tailored made for her. Her hips and her rear did not look any larger as it was perfect! The top of the dress dropped down too far so I pulled the dress up, folded down the extra material and put a decorative pin on top of the fold. The decorative pins looked as though they came with the dress and the fold was apart of the design of the dress. The dress was extremely long on her which I thought it would be. The heels that my daughter wore addressed that problem.

The company would be much better if it spent more time on workmanship and customer service. They have a good product but they do need to improve. I am for a person trying to expand their business BUT when you do so, DO IT RIGHT and one of the main things one can do is to have a GREAT customer service department so when things go wrong, they are there to make things better. When you have a flawed product and poor customer service that can destroy a company!

If you are looking for "A look" and not workmanship, then this is the company for YOU! To order from this company, you are taking a risk so if you do order, order EARLY! If you are looking for "A look" and you want your money's worth (workmanship) , then this might not be the company for YOU!

Great dress, it has all the sexiness of old skool Hollywood glam from the 1930's era. I bought this in Sage green 2x and it looks spectacular with peacock feather earrings and bold red lipstick. It's a great design for curvy girls - it really works an hourglass figure - and makes one when you haven't got one. I ended up wishing my hips were a little bigger(!!) to fill out the dress to its potential, but that's the fault of my top-heavy, waist/hipless body, not the dress. What was really important for me was that there was enough give in the bust that I could wear it without looking smashed in, so it was worth it being a little roomy in the waist and hip. The sage green color was a little warmer toned than the picture suggests, and absolutely perfect for a green-eyed brunette with olive skin. The color was refreshing, I am getting so tired of black dresses! Big girls, give this dress a chance! Posted measurements seem to be right on.

this dress is truely amazing, i live in germany, my hubby is a soldier stationed here, and the dress came soooo fast. we ordered on thursday and it got here monday! i am size 16 in jeans and have DD breasts and ordered a 2X. my body shape doesnt have much curve but i have a big BIG chest and my weight kinda sits like a muffin top (skinny legs with a belly on top and not much of a curve, also not so great for finding dresses) and this dress was perfect! showed of everything it should and hides everything i dont want to be seen, even the muffin top belly i have! the rouching on the sides is just in the right spot, i felt amazing in this the minute i put it on, im 5'4" and with heels this dress barely lifts off the floor, but just enough. i am very impressed, bought for a MP ball we are going to at the end of the month and will post pictures after. i do have to say for being a bigger girl and having a hard time finding dresses i was scared to order online but honestly could not have found a better fit or feel. dress is classy and sexy for girls of any size, curves or no curves, boobs or no boobs...i honestly can say i think this dress would be right for anyone and will make you feel like a princess! i know i love it.(size 16 jeans, DD breast, muffin top shape, ordered the gold 2X, fit perfect and made me feel amazing!)

I purchased this dress for a banquet and my friends sweet sixteen. Not only is this dress a great buy, but also a great fit!!! I am about a 9/11 size junior and a large fit wonderfully (snug to the body, but made a great allusion). The fabric is definitely not what I though it to be and was stretchy and clingy. I didn't have to alterate anything but the hem and just put the back up with a decorative pin. I would recommend this dress to anyone because it is different and has the right rushing in the right places to make anyone look thinner and more stunning.

This is an absolutely beautiful dress that is also very well made. I bought this dress in a small and in pink. Besides needing to be hemmed (I'm 5ft) it fits me perfectly. Like others have mentioned the fabric has some give to it so that helps the dress fit properly. The pink color is a beautiful shade and is just like the color pictured online. The material is of good quality and a good thickness as well. The dress doesn't feel cheap at all. The dress also has a zipper on the side. Another thing I like about the dress is it can be worn with a bra because the dress straps are in about the right place and are a good thickness to conceal bra straps. The dress arrived fast and packaged well. I would recommend this item and seller.

When I started looking at dresses online, I was a bit hesitant about this one. I read all of the reviews and looked at all of the pictures several times before I made a decision. I ended up buying the dress in gold. When I got the dress I was very pleased to find that the color was very true to what I saw online, almost more of a mix between gold and champagne. I wear a size 24 pants and a small/med shirt. I bought the dress in a size small and it fit PERFECTLY. I did not have to alter it at all. I am a bit short, so I wore 4" heels which brought the dress up to the right height. Overall I would have to say that I was extremely please with this dress and how well it fit. I could not have asked for a better dress for the price. Shipping was very prompt and the dress arrived before its estimated delivery window. I will be doing business with this seller in the future.

After reading the reviews already posted for this item, I decided to give it a try. I ordered it to wear as a costume in a theatrical production so I figured that the quality did not really matter. This dress is actually unbelievable for the price. While it is true that the workmanship is not the best I have seen, it certainly doesn't effect the look of the dress. I purchased this dress in black. The fabric drapes well and is very lustrous.

I ordered an XL because of a reviewer writing that she wears a 12 and the XL fit well. She was absolutely right. I wear a 12 in jeans and am very self conscious of my lower body, particularly my hips, tummy, and rear. I was afraid that the gathering on the sides and back would add bulk despite the fact that other reviewers said it did not. Actually, I put this dress on as soon as I got it (no hose or other support garments) and the dress looked absolutely fantastic. I felt like a million bucks.

I bought the dress as a costume, but would I wear it off the stage? Yes, yes, yes! And I guarantee no one would guess how little I paid for it. Don't second guess your self on this purchase. I am so glad I didn't.

I needed this dress for a formal event in my sorority. The price was great for a poor college student. I just got my dress this morning and I couldn't be happier. I was very hesitant about ordering a formal dress from the internet because of sizing and quality. The quality was great. The sizing was also true to the size chart. I wear a size 16 in pants/dresses so I got the 2X and it fit great. It was a little long but I am only 5'3 (with heels it should be fine). I will definitely buy from this company again for future formal occasions.

I was a little hesitant buying a dress online, and from a company I had never heard of.

DO NOT FEAR. This dress is beautiful and unique! The fabric is soft, silky, and of good quality. And very flattering for most shapes. I got the green, which is an amazing color - very different.

I actually ordered a size that was too big for me...and had the easiest experience returning it for a smaller size. I emailed the company and got a response right away to return the larger size and they put the smaller size on hold for me. From sending the larger size back to receiving the smaller size was inside a week.

I just couldn't be more pleased, and would not hesitate to order from this company again.
