GREAT SONGS. I KNEW THEY WOULD BE. JEANNE IS A GREAT SINGER + MY FAVORITE. WOULD BUY MORE OF HER ALBUMS IF I CAN FIND THEM.

Jeanne Pruett was a country singer of the seventies, who will forever be remembered for her only #1 hit, Satin sheets. Even if you cannot obtain Jeanne's CD, you should be able to find her version of Satin sheets on a various artists CD (do a song title search on Amazon).

Jeanne had a classic country voice, and had other top ten country hits with I'm your woman, Back to back, Temporarily Yours (which used the melody of Please help me I'm falling) and It's too late.

All those songs are here, along with lesser hits, some of which are brilliant. I particularly like the uplifting Welcome to the sunshine (Sweet baby Jane). Another of those lesser hits is Please sing Satin sheets for me, which is new song with a bit of her classic hit tagged on to the end.

Two duets with Marty Robbins complete the CD.

Hank Williams Junior did a great cover of Satin sheets, but as an answer song - it is very funny. I discovered it on his MGM boxed set, but it may be difficult to find now. A lot of country ladies covered the song in the seventies. Dolly waited till the nineties before including it on her Treasures album of covers.

Jeanne's success was limited, but her traditional country music is well worth listening to - if you can find it.

Jeanne to me is 1 in a million.I love her songs and their will never be another person who can sing her song,s as she can.I have bought her album,s and cassete,s and over a period of time they have gone from my collection. I would love to here her anytime. Horace Nixon- hlnixon2001 Ga.country boy.

Great CD. I highly recommend it!

There are so many great songs on this CD that I don't think that Jeanne had been given enough credit for...Songs such as: A POOR MAN'S WOMAN, SWEET BABY JANE, and etc. She was definitely a talented singer and song writer in my opinion.

For those who love traditional Country Music, This CD is definitely a great example of what Country Music was all about!

Very rare and hard to find Cd. Expensive but worth the money. I bought this Cd mainly for one song "Just Like Your Daddy" but was more than pleased with the whole Cd. Best Jeanne Pruett Cd out!!!

Haven't listened to jeanne's cd yet but I'm sure it's great. She's one of my favorites. I've heard her sing all the songs so I know the cd's great. I watch her on tv everytime she's on.
