THIS IS A GREAT AND SOLID EFFORT FROM THE COVER GIRLS . THE REVIEW BELOW IS INCORRECT ABOUT ONE THING ,THERE ARE ONLY TWO SINGLES FROM THIS CD ARE "I AM WOMAN" &"I NEED YOUR LOVIN'".THIS IS THE MOST INPRESSIVE COVER GIRLS CD IN TERMS OF SINGING PROWESS .PICK THIS CD UP TODAY ,BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT .I ALSO RECOMMEND THE THE FOLLOWING CD'S FROM SIMILAR ARTISTS: SHANA-"I WANT YOU",LIL'SUZY-"PARADISE",TKA-"FOREVER",SAFIRE-"BRINGING BACK THE GROOVE",JUDY TORRES-"LOVE STORY",JUDY TORRES-"MY SOUL",CYNTHIA-"THINKING ABOUT YOU" AND EXPOSE`-"EXPOSE`".

Okay, I had been searching for this CD for a long time and finally located it up here on amazon. Got ahold of it and I can say it was worth the wait for the most part, sadly though there is actually only one cover girl left and I believe this album was yanked shortly after release for not doing too well. Solid housy music here is pretty good with several remakes, seems all dance CD's nowadays have at least one remake. I must say though that halfway through it kinda looses steam and sounds very dated from I say track six on, however you freestyle/house/dance junkies like me should try to get ahold of this CD strictly for it's rarity. A good solid purchase all around

This is the second best Cover Girls album out there only to 1987's "SHOW ME" by the original group and 1992's "HERE IT IS " by the second version of the when only one orginal member remained.The reason why some fans of the original group don't love this CD is because since it was 1996/1997, the new group did some things differently.They sing more than just Freestyle.They do other styles such as Soul/R&B on the first single " I AM WOMAN". The second single their cover of Teena Marie's hit "I NEED YOUR LOVIN'"which sees them on a House-Pop track in 1997.They would go on to release more than 5 other singles including "SATISFY","KEEP ON LOVIN'ME","SUKIYAKI","DIM THE LIGHT"and "NICE AND SLOW among others. This set is fabulous from start to finish.I strongly recommend this Cd to those who enjoy Freestyle, R&B,and Electronic/Dance music.Also get the "I AM WOMAN" CD SINGLE. SIGNRD 17 YEAR LOD MUSIC FAN.

This album shows that the Cover Girls did survive into the late 90's. They weren't just another 80's/early 90's singing group. This album has some good solid dance/ballads. There is alot of romance and seduction that this album has become my favorite CG album. My favorite songs are:

I am Woman: Slinky and sexy

Keep on loving me:Funky song that screams "love"

All I need is your love: Ghetto/Hip Hop song, that has an awsome chorus

Whenever you need me: It could have been produced better, but it still has a good beat.
