Saturday Market,
This review is from: Saturday Market (Hardcover)
Every Saturday when I taught in Kenya I went to the market. This book reminds me of the atmosphere, , there is always something going on. Not only that, in the book you will be introduced to a cast of
interesting characters, such as Miguel, Carmen, Luis, and Rosa. They will try to sell you everything from huaraches to Rebozos. So, do not forget to bring your pesos.

Saturday Market,
By Jennifer Dunagan (Georgia, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Saturday Market (Hardcover)
The richly colored, warm illustrations tease our palates. We imagine the wonderful smells of the Mexican Market. This book teaches children about foods, wares and talents that are found in a typical Saturday Market. Children learn about a different culture and the kindness and love that go into making and cooking items for sale. There is something for everyone and it makes you want to go to Market next Saturday!
