TOP 500 REVIEWERon February 10, 2011
I bought these running shoes mainly for off-road running on bare, uneven, dirt and grass tracks. They are rugged and comfortable footwear.

PROS:
The footbed is lightly padded and comfortable enough to wear all day.
These running shoes provide extra support if you have feet with high arches.
The midsoles actually enhance shock absorption for a springy step while running on paved tracks.
Goodbye lower backaches! :))
The textured rubber outer sole helps you keep your grip even on uneven, uphill dirt tracks.
The breathable mesh material keeps your feet comfortably cool and dry during your workout.

I bought the silver/gray/green colorway. Gray sneakers hide dirt well! :))

CONS:
Actually this is a NOTE:
I typically wear a size 10 in most shoes, but these shoes run a bit smaller. I ordered a 10.5 and they fit fine.

I highly recommend these shoes for brisk walking, hiking and running - on paved surfaces, as well as uneven dirt tracks. These Saucony sneakers are both comfortable and stylish. You can even wear them as casual footwear with your favorite jeans.

Your feet will thank you! :))

I was not particularly happy with these shoes. I am an avid runner, and I always wear Saucony. I have wide toes and a narraw heel, so generally speaking, I prefer I a wider shoe, but this shoe was wide through the arch and my foot flopped around in it. If you're someone with a wide arch, this might be a good shoe for you. If not, I might look instead to the TR3.

I have tried every major brand of sneaker on the market over the years and accidentally stumbled upon this Saucony shoe 2 years ago when I was experiencing aching legs and sore heels. I will NEVER waste my money on another brand. I have had the same pair for 2 years (I'm a mom of three young children, I wear them everywhere!) and other than the day to day dirt and grime, there is not a thing wrong with them and they are still my favorite pair of shoes! If you are on the fence about Saucony, go into a shoe store and try them, then try the other major brands; you can feel the difference immediately!

I had a pair of Saucony's that I used to run my first and only marathon in 2007. I trained in them, ran the marathon in them and then wore them for work (healthcare) for the following 4 years. They held up like no other shoe I have ever owned. I just bought this particular Saucony shoe and once again, I am thoroughly impressed. It fits my foot so comfortably. A lot of other brands I have tried have caused knee pain and hip pain. These shoes don't. I have officially found my signature brand of shoe. I will always buy Saucony. Always.

These are the most amazing shoes ever! I don't ever like wearing shoes, but these ones I am remiss to take off... I walk everywhere on my campus and these shoes are great for support and cushion. I feel like I'm walking on a trampoline. The heels have extra cushion around the sides and the arch support is great. Highly recommend!

I agree with everyone saying these are GREAT shoes!
They are the most comfy athletic shoes ever, esp. if you have a high arch, like me.

I walk A LOT, over 2 hours some days, and these shoes always add a spring to my step and enable me to
walk long distances without fatigue.

You owe it to yourself to try them. I've gotten many pairs over the years, and just bought a new pair yesterday.
I think I"ll go back and buy another, in case they sell out. They last about 6 months or more with my heavy walking,
so it's good to have another pair in reserve, or to rotate from day to day.
Stay fit and have fun! Fall is the BEST time to walk and get fit.

Saucony is one of the best shoe companies for anyone with high arches (i know. i work in a shoe store) IF you get the correct style. I'd never tried this one on, but i liked the colors so i thought i'd give it a shot. I'm sending these back (or else giving them away, i haven't decided yet), but it's no big deal.., I have a tough time finding running shoes that work in the first place (high arches, high instep, and tendonitis in one ankle)!! Highly recommend anything by saucony if looking for new workout shoes!!!

I love working out to high impact classes (CKO Kickboxing and Zumba classes) However, I don't like coming home to feel like my shin bones are splintering. I did some research and these were highly recommended for shin splints. I LOVE THEM!! They give you cushion and support for your entire foot.

I recently bought the TR6 version of this shoe from a local brick and mortar store. The 7 1/2 fit me perfectly. I liked the TR6 so much that I wanted to get another pair to alternate and I found the TR5 on amazon at a discount. I bought the same size and the shoes are a good quarter inch shorter than the TR6 so I'm returning them. I thought I was safe ordering the same size in the previous generation of the same style, but no.

The shoe appears very similar to the TR6 which means it has lots of toe room without being wide in the heel, it accommodates a high arch, and feels well padded and supportive, although I added insoles for my arch support. One difference is that the mesh on the TR5 is thinner--if you hold the empty shoe up to the light, you will see light inside the shoe. This doesn't happen with the TR6; however the TR6 mesh still lets moisture in if you walk through wet grass. One thing I didn't like about the TR5 is that the "leather" is somewhat shiny. On the TR6 it has a matte finish, but this is just a minor cosmetic preference.

I am not reordering this shoe because, who knows, maybe the 8 wouldn't fit me right. I've never worn a size 8 in my life. I'll get another pair of the TR6. UPDATE: No I won't. The TR6's practically wore through at each big toe in 3 weeks. I have never had that happen with a shoe even after years of wear. My socks don't have holes at the toes, what gives? I called Saucony and they told me to return them to the store where I bought them and I was given a full refund.

I have been running for many years, since the past 3 I have used Saucony shoes (mens or womens - whatever is on sale). They are soft, last long and keep me going with no injuries. These shoes are good for my knees.
