Product Description

Building on its award winning pedigree, the Kinvara 4 is a perfect synthesis of celebrated design elements from previous versions. The redesigned upper continues to utilize FlexFilm for a lightweight, seamless feel. Kinvara loyalists will love the upgrade from ProGrid to PowerGrid in the heel landing zone for even smoother transitions and an improved overall ride.

PUT YOUR FOOT IN ITS PLACE

The magic of the Kinvara 4 begins with its meticulously designed internal booty construction. It provides a nice sock-like fit while keeping your feet and tongue (shoe, not mouth) in place. And there's no need to sweat the little things thanks to the HydraMax collar. It keeps feet happy with a comfortable plush feel and its superior sweat-wicking abilities.

FLEX APPEAL

Ever have that feeling? That seamless, flexible feeling? You will every time you step into the Kinvara 4 thanks to FlexFilm. It's a strong yet flexible material that adapts to your feet and allows for fewer layers in the upper.

THAT'S SOME MIGHTY POWERFUL SOFT

The brand-new PowerGrid system combines Powerfoam material with GRID technology to create something greater than the sum of its parts. It centers the foot and absorbs impact so you don't have to. And here's a fun fact: EVA foam is lighter than rubber. That's why we use it to construct the midsole and the outsole.

Saucony Kinvara 4 Running Specs
YOU'RE A MACHINE. HERE ARE YOUR TIRES.

Enjoy supreme traction action on terrain of all sorts thanks to the outsole's tri-lug design. It also creates a piston-like effect to help propel you off the ground and improves overall responsiveness while contributing to a cushiony ride. The outsole itself is made from XT-900 premium carbon rubber, making it a champ against wear-and-tear. Made for you. Now, make them yours.

Keep your transitions smooth and your feet secure with the award-winning Kinvara 4 running shoe from Saucony.

It is important to note that there are several different running styles. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone who is not a neutral runner, and mid-foot striker. This shoe does not offer pronation control(extra support on the sides), and with its minimalist makeup, there is not a ton of cushion - I imagine it would be unpleasant to run in if you landed on your heels or forefoot the whole time. If you run like me however, you may just find these to be your race day shoe. Super-light with ample room in the toe box (unlike Mizuno's). Other reviews say the shoe runs small, but I think they run true to size. My longest run so far has been 4 miles, and they performed beautifully. It's like they really work to enhance my stride, and made running effortless- and my foot felt very stable. I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up on longer runs. I am hoping they will be my half-marathon go-to shoes.! think they will only hold up for 300 miles or so, so I am going to order a backup pair - and at this price, I can afford to!

I've been a big fan of the Saucony Kinarva shoes for running for a few years now. The Kinarva 2's were my favorite, I didn't bother with the Kinarva 3's as I read alot of negative reviews about the heel rubbing with the 3's so I stayed with the 2's until the 4 just came out. If your a fan of the Kinarva 2, you'll like the Kinarva 4 as well. The fit and cushioning is similar with just a few minor tweaks for the 4. I've tried a few other running shoes but always come back to my Saucony Kinarvas. Just the right amount of cushioning, good cooling so they don't get too hot in the summer and just an overall great feel.

The lightest, most comfortable pair of sneakers I've ever worn!! Just keep in mind that with Saucony, they generally run smaller than other sneakers, so you do have to order a half size up.

I have been running in the Kinvara 3s for about a year and a half, including several half marathons and two fulls. They are a wonderful shoe for neutral runners and I highly recommend them. This review is for those currently running in the 3s who are looking to try the 4s. The 4s have a narrower forefoot, and are narrower overall, than the 3s. They are also longer in length. My street shoe size is 8.5, my 3s are 9.5, and my 4s are 9. So I would advise buying a half size smaller than your 3s, with the knowledge that they will be narrower - the ride is very similar between the two shoes, however. As an aside, I ordered the blue/orange model, and the blue is much brighter in person - more of an aqua, a very attractive shoe!

My sister loves this shoe. She has flat feet. Often times while walking long distances or running she experiences discomfort, but not anymore. These shoes are light weight and cheaper than the website!! They give her the support she needs and was a great birthday gift. Thanks again.

When I first bought these shoes I loved them. I loved how they looked (especially that the bottoms weren't white) and how they felt. The 4mm drop was an adjustment, but I was ready for that step towards a more neutral shoe. I have had these shoes for about a month now and in that time I have alternated between these shoes and a couple other pairs so I have probably run about 20 miles in them and worn them around walking a handful of times. Today I noticed that there was a hole on the outside of the shoe when I picked one up. I looked at the other and both shoes have holes wearing through near my little toe. The shoes fit very well. I have wide feet, but these actually seem wide enough. Apparently not though! I am very disappointed. I missed the return window by about a week (I haven't worn them in about a week, so it's a shame I didn't notice this then). I am very upset by this. I had switched over to Saucony from Asics last Spring and I have loved them up until this point. This was my first set of Kinvaras, but most reviews said that they were great. I saw one review about them wearing through like mine have, but I figured they just didn't fit that person well. I didn't think it would happen to me! Very disappointed. I would not recommend these shoes.

These are now my wife's favorite gym shoes. They replaced some Nike Shox she wore out on the treadmill. She loves the fit and the cushioning of these shoes. We got an excellent deal on these shoes so she is so happy. Too new to comment on durability but seems well. Well worth the money!
