I bought these Saucony boots some weeks ago. I have a foot that is hurting when I walk and run. I have a pair of walking shoes from Saucony and I thought that these boots would be great during winter time. I live in Europe and I have not found them in any retail store near my home. So my cousin brought them home from the States and I must say that it is the best running boots I have ever had. There is a kind of shoe inside the boot so that your foot is not gliding when you run - it just sits there comfortably. And the boots are very very light to wear, they only weigh 12,6 ounces each! The boots are so comfortable that I want to wear them always and everywhere - my feet love the boots!
Saucony, you did a fantastic job!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Saucony Progrid Razor Trail Running Shoe, February 24, 2011
Ok people as a Triathlete living in Iowa, my coach wanted us to stop running loops around our gym and get out and try some thing new. So I started looking into snowshoeing. Not only did I learn that it's a great replacement for a run workout but it is so much fun I can't believe I have not tried it until now. If you're thinking about it, don't think any more. If your at all fit and use this as a cross training tool, get the ATLAS RUN SNOWSHOE. However, your going to need a waterproof warm shoe that is flexible and can keep you out there when the temps are low working hard. So if you're looking for shoes, to go with your snowshoes don't look anymore. I bought the Saucony Progrid Razor Trail Running Shoe - Women. Not the cutest but do a great job on temps down to 5 degrees. The heel portion of the shoe has structure so if you are using them with the snowshoe there is a secure place to synch the straps down without bothering your ankle. Good luck and have fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most comfortable waterproof running shoe ever, December 25, 2009
By
I am surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. Normally I wear Nike and New Balance and had never purchased Saucony before. I wore them right away and walked six miles in them in cold weather. They kept me warm and try and my feet and hips actually felt better at the end than when I started. I am so impressed since I tend to get a sore hip when I walk long distances, but not so with these shoes. Now I am looking for something similar in a regular running shoe for times when I don't need a waterproof shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Razors, December 22, 2009
I love my Saucony Razors. They are very light and fit my foot like they were made for me. My feet stay warm and they grip the snow and ice really well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great running shoes, August 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wanted shoes I could use to run on wet grass - the paths I have in my hay field - so that I can also exercise my dogs while getting in my morning run. Nothing worse than soggy shoes when trying to run! Saucony happens to be the brand of running shoe I've used for years now, so I figured I would take a chance on these. I am very happy with these shoes. Feet stay bone dry even through VERY wet and sometimes ankle deep grass. Puddles not a problem either. Amazing, actually. I bought the size I normally wear, and they fit just fine. A little hard to put on without a shoe horn to help slide the heel in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent wet weather shoe, July 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been really thrilled with these shoes! I bought them as a wet weather walking shoe, mostly for walking on the street as exercise in winter, and they perform really well and keep my feet dry - I normally wear runners for this, but hate getting wet through the mesh on rainy days. I took them on a trail walk in appalling torrential rain in Northland NZ, on muddy, soggy ground, and while a bit of moisture did get in from the top thanks to completely sodden trousers, they withstood puddles and any mud just brushed off the next day. Sensational. They are comfortable and have really good grip, I will be using them instead of hiking boots for bush walking in better weather. Love them love them love them and would definitely buy them again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile shoes, June 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is my second pair. The first lasted a rigorous trek in North Vietnam. They withstood ankle deep mud, rocks, water, rice paddies, Hanoi traffic, etc. Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Besides, they look very hip when I'm on the subway in NY.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent comfort and support, March 20, 2011

I got these 1/2 size up for more room for socks (usual Saucony size is 9.5 and these are 10). They fit well right out of the box for my narrow heel, wide forefoot foot.. There is not tight binding (worried about this around the ankle with the velcro). The lacing system on the inside is also comfortable, another worry since I have high arched feet and thought they could cut in on the top. These are great for trails, walking as well as running. I find I use them more for the walking, given ice etc this winter. These are warm but not lined with thermalite, so wear warm socks. Will recommend and buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars I have the blue and silver-trimmed ones, January 2, 2011
My adventure of trail running in Vibram 5 Fingers has been thwarted by the significant snowfall that's struck North Jersey last week. This week the snow has been busy melting, and my Vibram's have been busy allowing water to seep in and allowing my feet to be assaulted and crippled by sharp rocks. I couldn't take anymore and I couldn't give up running, so I caved in and and bought these lifeboats. They are amazing! My running trail has turned into a small, snow covered river of melt and mud. The Razors cruised through and kept my feet warm and bone-dry. They were anointed repeatedly in several inches of water. No problem! The tread consists of a very predominant lateral pattern. I think this is important to mention because since my childhood, I've hiked on a lot of hilly terrain and learned at an early age to walk sideways for more traction on steep hills. The tread and grip on the Razors is very strong and eliminates the need for sideways-stepping up and down hills. Even more important to mention is that I found the predominant lateral tread can tend to slip more when navigating hills sideways. The only drawback I found is some foot discomfort from inadequate support around the toes and ball of my right foot, hence my 4-star rating.. I believe a good insole will take care of that. These are definitely the cat's pajamas!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best running shoe ever, December 31, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
There is a reason for this price. Best shoe ever but you have to buy at least one size bigger because the shoe has some kind of another shoe inside. It may look bigger from the outside but the inside is not! You are gonna have a problem if you buy it your normal size, especially to close the shoe. With one size bigger than I usually wear these shoes still fit like a swimsuit. Keep in mind that you close these shoes with a zipper!

I bought them on Black Friday for half the price. If you want them and cannot afford to pay over $120 than just wait. My seller was shoeflake and they offered this pair for Thanksgiving and Black Friday for half price. After that it turned back to full prize.
