This tv stand is very nice. Its scary at first when you open up the contents and all the parts come out and hardly anything was marked. The instruction were some of the best i've seen, with detailed pictures so even without labels you can tell what to use.

The stand is very sturdy, i have a 52" sony tv on it, and all the compartments full and it doesnt show any flexing. Nicely well built and i would recommend this product.

First, I'd like to thank the previous reviewers. I was hesitant to buy this item because the price is so good that I figured it must be pretty low quality. After reading the reviews here I decided to order. This item is definitely an outstanding value and a pretty solid piece of furniture. I have a 55" TV on it and it fits perfectly. Not sure it would look good with anything much bigger than that though. It took me about 4 - 4 1/2 hours to put together by myself and now I'm ready for the Super Bowl!

After reading the mostly positive reviews of this corner tv stand (on Amazon and elsewhere), I decided to take a gamble and buy it sight unseen. This was my first experience purchasing furniture online and my first "particle board" piece of furniture at that!

It has exceeded my expectations! We received it within seven business days, which was impressive during the holiday season. One piece was broken and one piece was scratched pretty deeply, but both pieces were decorative and not part of the support system so we decided to assemble the stand anyway and swap out the damaged pieces when the replacement parts arrive. As far as getting the replacement parts, I can't comment yet. We just received this today and I will update this review at a later time.

My husband and I assembled the unit in roughly 4 1/2 hours (we probably could have done it in two if our little ones weren't so determined to "help" us). We took the time to separate and organize all of the pieces, screws, nails, clips, brackets, etc. before we began and this was a HUGE help as we put things together. This thing comes with tons of hardware! You'll need a phillips and flat screwdriver, as well as a hammer for assembly. The directions are easy to understand and the diagrams are extremely detailed and very helpful. When assembly is complete, this is a heavy, solid, good looking piece of furniture. I took the advice of another reviewer and touched up a few spots with a black sharpie--great idea and I couldn't even find the spots I touched up again if I had to!

That brings me to my next comment...the "antiqued paint" finish looks similar to a "java" finish on my computer.

This stand looks great, serves its purpose perfectly and is incredibly well made. There are definitely ALOT of pieces and assembly is a bit involved. But as long as you take your time and follow the directions explicitly you should have no problems. Once it's assembled it feels incredibly sturdy as if it were a single piece of furniture. You would never disassemble this item.

It fits in a corner perfectly and would probably hold up to a 60" TV with ease. I have a 50" on it which gives me a bit of wiggle room.

The unit is VERY heavy so take care when assembling it. I would suggest putting furniture pads on the entire bottom so you can move it around without damaging floors. Lifting it, even with help is not easy.

I looked at a number of units, some from very fancy furniture stores for very high amounts of money, trying to find the perfect fir for my corner. The design and craftsmanship on this stand is really impressive, and when you factor in the pretty affordable price, you can't go wrong.

This TV stand is gorgeous in my family room. There is so much room inside the drawers that we were able to fit 50 DVDs in each of them. That is 100 DVDs! Crazy! The upper shelves fit quite a bit as well too. We are able to store our Wii balance board in one of them along with the remotes and a couple accessories. That's a deep shelf! We also have a chunky DVD/VCR in another one. The small shelves on the sides are indeed small; we fit a 4" x 6" photo in the frame in each one. The color is an antique, which means it is meant to look older than it is. It has sort of a distressed look in some places. I love the color. It has held up well with kids and dogs getting near it. My daughter seems to always slam the drawers shut, and they are fine.

It took my dad and me a few hours to put it together. Of course, I was the one reading the directions and sometimes got them muddled up! There are lots of parts to it. It feels stable and secure for our flat screen on top. I love this stand!

We just purchased a 65" Sony KDL-65W850A from Amazon and ordered this unit to complete the set. And did it. The unit though time consuming to assemble well worth the effort. My wife and I would have paid $350+ for a similar unit in the store. A word of wisdom, it's heavy! Assemble where you're going to place it, at least near by. Great experience from seller from my experience they are people of high integrity. Thank you for a great product and transaction.

Update: 3/8/14
I've read some reviews that it takes awhile to put together: yes it does. It's worth the time if you'd like to save money. Unless you value your time greater than $100/ hr - if so, I'd go to the store and pick an assembled one up same or less quality for ~$350.00

I've also read some reviews that say you shouldn't put a tv bigger than a 50" or 55": I will post a picture of our 65" and it fits beautifully.

My one concern before purchase is that our Marantz receiver would not fit. It does! And it's about as big and heavy as they come.

Lastly: I read a review that said a sub wouldn't fit and the cardboard rattled. I used every nail the pack came with our cardboard backing does not shake with the massive bass we have playing behind it. Ours is not 'touching' the walls and our 10" front face Phase sub fits behind and sounds great.
