I used to have a wooden dipper, which eventually got broken. Bought this one and wow, never used a better dipper in any sauna I tried.
The only problem is if you leave it in a hot sauna for a very long time, the heat spread from the copper core of the handle through the wood, so that holding it can become difficult.
