I'm 46 y.o. and was diagnosed with degenerative changes in my cervical spine about 12 years ago. I saw a good orthopedist at the time and decided that I would attempt to deal with those problems on my own. I've done fairly well over recent years by daily exercising and stretching. About 6 months ago, my symptoms increased dramatically and I was experiencing severe pain and stiffness upon awakening each day, along with weakness in my right arm. Some days were worse than others, with excruciating headaches accompanied by nausea. I purchased this cervical traction machine after trying one that a friend owned. There is no comparison with the cheap, over-the-door models which are a real pain to set up when you aren't feeling well. I have been doing the traction at least twice per day for 15-30 mins each time. I've gotten great relief from my symptoms, but I think that this is going to take a commitment to do it each and every day in order to keep the symptoms at bay. There's no learning curve and it is extremely easy to set up. I was also very impressed with the carrying case and how the machine fit snugly into a protective foam liner. This makes this machine easy to take on vacations, etc. Very nice product for the price and well worth it.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with something purchased through Amazon. My physical therapist told me to get a traction unit for my neck. I purchased this one through Amazon, because returns are so easy with Amazon, in case it didn't work. I used it for 3 days, and it was clearly making my neck worse, not better. I called the company to return it, and they said, they don't allow returns. So I am out the purchase price, and my neck is worse. Don't buy anything from this company, they are not co-operative.
