This is far and above the best book for LPN students. I checked out many books from the library and then found this one. The book is broken down into systems with a great review of that system before the questions. The disc is set up with numerous ways to take tests and from former LPN students, it is similar to the actual NCLEX.

I found this book to be the most helpful with studying for the nclex pn. it breaks everything done nicely and gives you amazing rationeles for each question and shows you how to use process of elimination and crictical thinking to reach the correct answers.
highly recommend this book to anyone looking for help studying.

Amazon was the quickest and least expensive way to obtain this book. It was even a better value than buying it used elsewhere! My daughter passed her exam without breaking a sweat, because she felt she was well prepared thanks to the book.

This is a great review for the NCLEX. You need to spend the same kind of time using this product as you did to pass Nursing School. It should take 21-30 days to complete cover to cover. Then test within a week or two. If you put yourself into it, you should pass too. I most strongly recommend Saunders Comprehensive Review. It will cover the necessary information you need to pass. You may be surprised at what you have forgotten over the course of school without this book. Read it cover to cover and do all tests and you will be very well prepared. Also, I most strongly recommend NCLEX 4000 which I use on Vista Home Premium with no issues. I found this book and the cd to both be excellent tools! I already had a review book from Lippicott that our school suggested, but the Saunders beats it hands down in both material and the use of the accompanying cd.

In fact I liked this review book so well I strongly suggested to the instructors of my program that they change to Saunders instead of Lippicott's. I take my NCLEX exam next week and feel that I will be more than prepared.

This book is great to review for the LPN NCLEX exam. It covers a wide range of topics with teaching and plenty of review questions. Each section is broken down by catagory/body system so it is very useful as a review tool for classes prior to exams as well as brushing up for the NCLEX!

Very organized! Most chapters have a medication chapter following the various organs. Review cardio chapter and cardio drugs follow. Same for psych, OB, peds, etc.

This book has sections on test taking strategies, fluid and electrolyte balance. The basics and beyond. Most everything you need to competently care for your patients.

This book is my #1 choice for review.

I just took the NCLEX-PN within the last week and passed. There is no way I would have without this book. Also, remember to study your meds. The meds gave me serious stress during the exam, even with this book, so at least I know where to focus my myself from here on out. Good Luck on your test!! :)

This was the only book I used to prepare for NCLEX-PN. Note: I did not attend a formal nursing school but I was given special permission to take NCLEX-PN by the state of CA based on my military training and experience. Thanks to the book's comprehensive practice questions and pre-exam tips, I am now a licensed practical nurse! Thank you Ms. Silvestri for this awesome review book. I can now use my skills in the "real world."

This book is absolutely fabulous! It is organized in sections that I have been reviewing as I learn each subject area. It's has great explanations (rationales) for each answer to the practice questions and even a brief summary of the categories before the practice questions. Let's hope it helps with the HESI and NCLEX tests.
