It's a wonderful refresher for the NCLEX,
By A Customer
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (With CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
It's filled with over 3,450 questions each catagorized by the categories- Assessment,Analysis,Planning etc., It has rationale to support the reasons that the answer is correct and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. It's a great study tool in preparation for state boards. It brings everything together.

The best Q&A Review out there!,
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
This is the best book out there as far as how questions are written. I threw out a Mosby book before this one; it was terrible. I did 5,000 questions total to pratice for boards, using Saunders Comprehensive Review and this book and passed my boards in 75 questions on the first try. The Saunders questions were most like "the real thing" compared to other books I used. I was disappointed that this book only had 1700 questions in the text itself; the CD-ROM had 3,000, but they duplicated the ones in the book, so if you did the book first and then the CD, you got repeats. It would be better if the CD only had new questions on it and not the ones in the book. If you are prepping for your board exams, don't be mistaken--you have to do the content review FIRST. This book is for after you have reviewed your content and just want to practice questions.

Q&A Review for NCLEX Saunders,
By Jackie Kerouac (Flint, MI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
The book is okay and I do like having the rationales right next to the questions. However I got the Dosage and Calculations CD instead of the RN review CD. I havn't taken my NCLEX yet and am not having much luck reaching the publishier to replace my CD.

Good book but the CD-ROM is defective,
By A Customer
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
I have exchanged the CD-ROM of Saunders Q & A more than five times and it is still either the incorrect CD or defective one. It kept giving me the same rationale for each and every question; and, did not tabulate my answers. Very frustrating. I called the publisher already but still got a defective CD-ROM.

One of the best NCLEX-RN review book!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
This book really help me prepare for the boards. I would suggest not to bother with the book because they had the rationales right next to the questions so it was quite annoying. However, the cd-rom was great. The exam format and questions are similar to the NCLEX exam. I highly recommend this for practicing Q & A's.

Book is good, CD ROM is not,
By Glupidio (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
Out of all the review books I have read, this one definitely has the best format, and the questions are very good preparation for the NCLEX exam. However, in my experience, computerized review questions are the most beneficial for me as I get close to exam time. Unfortunately, I chose to focus on the accompanying CD ROM for my last two weeks prior to the test, and was immobilized by continuous and ongoing error messages, crashes, and loss of data.

Don't Buy This Shoddy Product,
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
Customer support is terrible... basically nonexistent.
I purchased the 4th edition of this book. The CD-Rom they claimed would run on Macs would not run. Nor would it run on any of the Macs used by my classmates. Upon review, I discovered that the underlying app for the CD-ROM is written for PowerPC - a very old Mac technology which is now obsolete. The vendor's website is useless - try sending them an email and you get stuck in a loop proving you're not spam. So getting a replacement CD that will run on Macs is out of the question. If you're a Windows user, pray you don't get a defective CD with your book, or you'll be out the money, like I was.

SAUNDERS NCLEX-RN REVIEW/ Q&A NCLEX-RN,
By A Customer
This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
It is extremely different reviewer from my previous resources. Infact, I am already used with it since before, It helped me to pass my Philippine Nursing Board Examination since 1994 when I took my licensure examination in the Philippines. I find it very detailed. I have worked in different countries as a nurse but I stick only to the best book which made me a successful professional nurse. Edwin

This review is from: Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN (Book with CD-ROM for Windows, Individual Version) (Paperback)
My CD-rom was missing. I bought this book 5 months before I needed it so by the time I opened the package it was to late to return it. Amazon was no kind to offer me 1/2 my money back.
