Just got back from France and didn't see this product when I was in Arles, near the Camargue. Later, in Nice, it was served at a restaurant (Vin Sur Vin -- recommended) with my grilled bass. It added such wonderful flavor to the fish, and to the accompanying vegetables. I had no time to go looking for some there, so I'm thrilled to be able to order it on Amazon. There is a really special taste and texture to it. The container on my table even had the signature of the man who had gathered the crystals. It would make a wonderful gift to dinner hosts.

We bought this salt in the south of France where it is available in every supermarket. It is crunchy and delicious. It has been consistently rated as the number one gourmet salt. Sprinkle on anything and your meal will be transformed. Yum!

I found this salt at local high-end grocery stores and loved it. It is the best finishing salt I have found, and I've tried many.

Then the local stores stopped carrying it - so I found it on Amazon, ordered five containers. It was cheaper on Amazon than the local stores.

I gave it to foodie friends as a holiday gift - and they loved me for it!!

The order was delivered when specified, in great condition - everything I expected.

This is a very fine salty salt - strong, toothsome, and delicious. Don't use it for cooking - that's a waste - use it a a 'finishing' salt - sprinkle over your food just before eating (and remember to reduce the salt used in cooking) - I particularly love it on freshly cut tomatoes. This is a luxury item for me, and I wouldn't be without it!

This is my first purchase of fleur de sel, and I love it. I use fleur de sel for finishing. This is not salt that you should mix in to a cake or as part of a recipe. It's delicate flavor profile will be lost. I sprinkle it on at the end of cooking - on top of steamed veggies, on top of a steak, on top of a salad with homemade vinaigrette. This salt is not cheap (considering the price of kosher salt and the extra premium paid for shipping for this stuff), but it's something I look forward to using and tasting every time I pull it out of the cabinet.

I just got back from being in Paris for a delicious month and was turned on to Fleur de Sel de Camargue by Ina Garten in her book "Barefoot in Paris", which I took with me, and it changed the way I cook and how I experience the process and the end result. I found this product abundant at La Grande Epicerie de Paris at 38 rue de Sevres, where every thing can be found in abundance!! I brought back a dozen containers! Who knew I would be able to get it on Amazon!! Thank you Ina and thank you Amazon!!!

This is an intensely flavorful sea salt that enhances the flavor of whatever it is added to. It is best to sprinkle this product on your food that has been prepared. I am thrilled to be able to get it locally because I buy it by the trunkfull when I am visiting Paris. Thanks for saving me a trip!!!!!

I am amazed at how much brighter the taste of this salt is compared to common salts. There is a difference.

This is excellent salt. I really enjoy the flavor and enjoy my food with this product. It's a bit pricey, but a nice treat once in a while. It wasn't as finely ground as I thought it would be, but the flavor makes up for that minor detail.

This is the best fleur de sel I have found so far and I was sad when Amazon could no longer include it in the Subscribe-and-save program but happy to see it is still available. You will never go back to harsh table salt once you experience this salt. I carry a small container of it in my purse so I am never without it; it's that good.
