This compilation CD includes all 11 tracks from the Dutch band's 1980 debut Watts In A Tank. It also contains 4 tracks from their 1982 follow-up Unleaded,the full 5:08 version of "Sausalito Summernight" from Watts In A Tank & the edited 3:00 single version. Highly Recommended!

You get all the songs from Watts In A Tank and a couple of other tunes at a fraction of the cost of the aforementioned cd. The album version of Sausalito Summernight alone is worth the cost of this cd.

This is a compilation by the long-lost band Diesel. Tracks #2-11 and #16 are from the 1979 release Watts in a Tank while tracks #12-15 are from 1988. The first (and best) track is the single version of their biggest hit, "Sausalito Summernight", a rollicking good piece of rock'n'roll. The other tracks are mostly not as memorable, but "Down in the Silvermine", "Good Mornin' Day", and "Bite Back" are worth a listen. The album-edit version of "Summernight" at the end of the disc is more than a minute longer than the single-edit; it contains a stanza of additional lyrics plus a longer guitar/keyboard solo section. I've played this one in my car a number of times; that's the best way to listen to it. It's good "road" music.

Having grown up with Sausalito Summernight it was nice to be able to find it again and have a copy. Great song on a good album. Too bad we didn't get to hear more from Diesel.

This was a replacement for the "watts in a tank" album. However, since the album
itself was not available in audio CD, this is the next best thing..I liked the song
"Sausalito Summernight," however I liked the album in General..This group (and I think they are from the Netherland/Germany area and apologies if I am wrong) exemplifies the type of rock music that comes from that area of Europe (Scorpions are the best example). The remastering was excellent and the song(s) are crisp, clean and sound good
