5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly Entrancing
This is a wonderful book. I couldn't put it down. Amelia is a beautiful young white woman who first saw Gray Wing in the wilderness and was awed by the savage beauty of him. Her family did not want her to be with a "savage" and gave her a hard time. She was kidnapped..... sold..... and taken away. Though she never lost the love that she felt for Gray...

1.0 out of 5 stars If you enjoy child porn....
Others may rave about this book, but I was not impressed. I really enjoy the Savage Series; however, the main character in this story is 13!!! I couldn't even get past the first few chapters. I don't want to read about a 13-year-old girl's love affair(Yuck)!

Though she never lost the love that she felt for Gray Wing. Gray Wing is a Chief of the Suquamish tribe. He was a brave and proud man. When Amelia was taken away he vowed to have her again. After all...... she was his woman. She has to go through so much to be back in the arms of her true love again. But does she make it? Is he still waiting for her? Cassie Edwards has done a wonderful job of writing this story and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Also with the knowledge and facts of Indian heritage that she includes with the story. This book is a definate Must Read!

2.0 out of 5 stars Just short of XXX, March 31, 2003

I have been a Cassie Edwards fan for years. This book was just short of being XXX. I thought that she also didn't keep to the story line as well as she always does. She writes very well normally, but this was a disappointment for me. I know that there are other books I will enjoy in the future. I did appreciate the historical information about the Suquamish and Hiada Indian Tribes, which is the only reason I am giving this book the credit of two stars, instead of a plain 0.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the better of Ms. Edwards' books, November 8, 2011

I liked this book for the difference between this and other Savage books. I still had problems with the dialogue and use of ellipses - a common issue through her books - but I liked the story and how this story not only had Native Americans, but Chinese, and the main character Amelia spends some of her time in China after being kidnapped. However, Ms. Edwards should have done some more research because while overall the China parts were fun to read, I could tell that Ms. Edwards did a minimal amount of research for this. Still, it's one of the more interesting Savage books.

This review is from: Savage Bliss (Kindle Edition)
I thought it was good with enough action to keep it moving. The beginning really laid out what happens in the rest. Dont be fooled by the bad reviews, Im glad i bought it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweeping Epic Romance, with tremendous Passion!, December 7, 2010
This is one of my favorite Cassie Edwards books! I learned so much about the two tribes in the book, their culture, habitat, etc. All of which was beautifully described and she takes you litteraly to China and back. Where you also get to learn of ancient Chinese traditions and customs. This is a must read for Edwards fans. I could not put it down and I have read alot of Historical romance and Edwards books. Also, she really develops the secondary characters in this book and you find yourself as involved and connected with them as the main hero and herrione. If you like vivid descriptions of character background and personna, with beautiful graphic descriptions of the islands and countries where the story takes place, all mixed in with one of the most passionate of all her novels then then read Savage Bliss!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not even worth my .50 cents, May 9, 2007
I hate to say this because I love Cassie Edwards' books, but this one was so bad. The storyline was just plain boring there was nothing to get into and a lot of chapters were a waste. First off the first eight chapters could have been summed up into a prolog. I also did not like all the secondary characters, there was so much about them it was a real turn off. It pained me to say bad stuff about Cassie Edwards' books but this one not even worth the .50 cents I paid for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars White hot adventure and romance, June 17, 2001
By A Customer
Seduced by desire.

When beautiful young Amelia first came upon Gray Wing in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, she was entranced by the virile strength of his bronzed, muscular body, and the unbridled passion in his smoldering glance...With every beat of her heart, she yearned to surrender her innocence to his hot, demanding embrace.

Enslaved by ecstasy.

Yet barely had Amelia felt the surging fire of his sensual caress before she was cruelly torn from the proud and magnificent Indian chief. At the mercy of her family's wrath, she was spirited away to an exotic shore, far from Gray Wing's irresistible touch. But her hidden longings could not be denied-and nothing would keep her from the secret pleasures of Gray Wing's captivating love when he claimed her in flames of passion that would triumph forever...
