5.0 out of 5 stars no reviews ?????
Okay well ive been a fan for about 4 years & this disk cant be taken out of my CD player & is constantly on repeat on my ipod. For a second album, this is amazing! WILD TALK is probobly one of their best songs they've ever recorded. This is pure 80's style glam rock & its well done & not cheezy. From beginning to end (even the intro) its a great listen you wont get tired...

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!!! STAY AWAY!!!
I was surprised by this album. If you enjoy the gothic atmosphere that the 69 eyes brings then this album isn't for you. It was heavily rock blues influenced like a bad 80's tribute. It was too bright. I didn't even recognize that band members and the song titles hinted at the music genre. I hesitated buying this album but I put my faith in it. Faith never works for...

I love The 69 Eyes, they are one of my favorite bands.
Savage Garden would have to in my opinion be their best album, Great for fans of Glam & Old School Rock.
I was incredibly happy with my purchase :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Sleazy Rock!!, September 13, 2009

Forget what the goth wannabees thinks, this albums rocks, while not as heavy as wrap your troubles in dreams(which is damn heavy!!). For us rockers it's soooo much better than the soft goth pop on albums such as Paris kills and blessed be. Thankfully they are discovering their rock roots again and turning up the guitars as can be heard on Angels and the new back in blood. If you rock gets this albums as it's well cool, if ur one of the goth wannabees stick to Paris kills or better still buy some decent goth stuff like The Awakening or London after midnight.......

4.0 out of 5 stars Savage Rock N Roll, September 30, 2011
This review is from: Savage Garden (Audio CD)

This is the first album by 69 eyes that ive really gotten into. They seem to have just decieded to return to the basics of rock n roll on this one and come out swinging with some really good tunes. What I really enjoy about this cd is that while it lays down some really good rocking tunes they seem to change it up here and there giving a surprise listening. It sounds as if it should have been dated earlier that 2007 and thats what I like about Savage Garden. I wouldnt go so far as to call it glam by any means. However it sounds like something made in the early 90's by the likes of many bands who were trying to come into their own in that period up against the grunge onslaught. There are so many of those bands who faltered in that time period who should have blasted the airwaves.)

All in all this is a great rocking album by the Eyes and Im glad to have given it a spin and enjoyed every minute of it. I wish they would do something new similar.
