Having lived in St. Louis for thirty years, my husband and I returned to Mattoon, Illinois, when he retired from teaching. My dream house is peaceful and quiet, where an occasional curious red fox ventures onto my sundeck and peeks into my office, and where I can watch swallows building their nest and raising their babies right outside my kitchen window. It is the perfect place to create my novels.
I feel blessed to have found a “second life,” the first having been spent raising two happy and healthy sons. Writing my Indian romances is my small tribute to those beautiful first people of our land who have suffered so much injustice. And I have just begun. My upcoming books will continue with more passion and adventure and rich historical settings. Enjoy!

Another Great Story for Cassie!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Savage Paradise (Mass Market Paperback)
I am hooked on these Historical romances stories and I believe that Cassie did a great job in this story with the plot and characters as usual. I am not a EXPERT of history and don't read her books to "pick" at the historical facts. I read to get involved with the plot and the characters. This I believe that she does a fine job with in this story. This is way I find her books so enjoyable. Good job Cassie!

Go Cassie,
By
This review is from: Savage Paradise (Zebra Historical Romance) (Kindle Edition)
I like the Cassie books. Like most readers, I don't read to prove how off base the writer is; I read for the pleasure of a good story. The word SAVAGE to me indicates what the early settlers called people who fought to save their lands from the Europeans. I am of Cherokee heritage and very proud of my ancestors, but it is just a title. Cassie Edwards is not trying to insult me. Get a grip all of you who are looking for accuracy in history. You can buy a good used history book from someone if all you are looking for is history. How much truth do you suppose you will find in the real history book? (I have been reading all the critiques of Cassie's books.) As I said in my title, GO CASSIE. CeeCee
