A beautiful story about the forgotten Aleuts, and Alaska.
To date, I can not recall anything depicting Aleuts as anything other than chubby little eskimos. This book dares to show that nothing can be further from the truth. In what is commonly referred to as the "wastelands" of our beautiful Alaska, a white woman is attacked by a polar bear.An Aleut saves her life, and they begin to travel together. They both...

Not one of Cassie Edwards Greatest Stories
I'm a very big fan of Cassie Edwards. I believe she is very talented and loved a majority of her stories. However, not this one. I found it lacked conviction, truth, and depth. Actually, I couldn't wait to get through the book so I can start another.. Sorry Cassie, I didn't enjoy this one... Still one of your favorite fans!!

They both overcome some racial steriotypes with a little help from love. If you are in the mood for a well-researched and well-written romance adventure, read this book... I read it in one sitting!

I really like these Cassie Edwards books. They are action packed and romantic all at the same time. They keep my interest throughout the entire book. Just when you think everything is ok something else happens.
