5.0 out of 5 stars Savage Spirit Book
Cassie Edwards writes very good Native American Books just wished she would have more reprints as they are hard to get a hold of to buy, as I just started to read them a couple of years ago. Love her "Savage Series".

2.0 out of 5 stars Characters in sexual overdrive
Cassie Edwards has great ideas, but her stories are unrealistic. Also, I am 100% sure that certain sexual positions were unheard of in those times. You cannot have superb, repeated sex when you are in excruciating pain (mostly a leg). Come on Ms. Edwards let's keep it real.

At this point, Ms. Edwards' books have become rather formulaic. All too often the beautiful white girl is kidnapped by a handsome Indian chief (or the son of a chief) Never is the man just a regular warrior, I've read about ten of these books (handed down to me) and it seems that in Ms. Edwards' books, only the chief (or prince) is worthy of having a beautiful white woman for himself. Dialogue is as clunky in here as it is in her other books, with some utterly unrealistic lines, especially from the main character/heroine, she swings between fierce devotion to her chief yet at other times she hates him and thinks he's a no-good liar despite his heartfelt efforts to prove otherwise. Not one of Ms. Edwards' better books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Plot and Characters, April 8, 2000

Again Cassie has did a great job of creating a fast paced romantic adventure. The plot and characters kept me interested from the first page to the end. Sometimes, I hate it when a story is concluded and and this is the way I felt in the end of this story. I wish there was more closure for these characters. Otherwise,,it was great.
