4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Most
I'm one of those chapstick addicts. I have a tube at home, work, and in my purse at all times. There isn't much else to add to what other have posted here. I am forever searching for the best way to moisturize my chapped lips. The most mainstream brand is too waxy and does not penetrate. Petroleum based products work, but are yucky and goopy. Savannah Bee Co. is natural,...

Savannah Bee Co. is natural, light, smells nice, and has a beautiful natural tint. Wear alone or to use to freshen up lipstain. My only issue is I wish it would last longer on my lips, but hey -- when you're talking, drinking, eating, etc. throughout the day, one can't have unreasonable expectations. Savannah Bee is better than most!

PRO
- very moisturizing

CONS
- lip balm goes up in the tube, but doesn't come down
- texture is oily on lips, too soft in the tube (not a good lip balm to keep in pockets or in a warm environment).
- smell is a little off: I think they were going for a blackberry scent, but it doesn't smell "right". In the tube it's smell fruity (exotic fruit smell). On the lips it's smell like a mixture of exotic fruit and something else. Maybe it's the blend of oils and shea butter.

I prefer Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm.

3.0 out of 5 stars Meh., October 12, 2010

The specific item that I received wasn't scrolling down. So I twisted it up, used it, and then when I twisted it down, it didn't move back down. Also the consistency was too liquidy, so too much of the product went on my lips. Finally, it didn't smell like blackberries. It had that yucky chemical makeup smell, which I wasn't expecting at all, since it was supposed to be "natural and organic".

1.0 out of 5 stars Yuckie, tastes bad, smells so bad., April 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was excited when I got this item, it's yuckie. If I could give it a 0 I would, it smells horrible and tastes even worse. The worst thing I've purchased on amazon. I do not recommend it to anyone in fact I'm warning you about it. Don't buy it!

I was not looking for this product in particular but when I "happened" upon it, I thought I would give it a try because I use lip balms and wanted a tint. This is Perfect! not greasy, great tint and compact for my purse.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Savannah Bee Balm, June 12, 2008

I tried many lip balms and this is the one I love. I don't have to buy lipstick AND lip balm anymore because these have nice colors.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome flavor of lipbalm!, March 24, 2008
I really like the Savannah Bee Co. lip balms. The blackberry smells awesome and leaves a dark pink tint. Has a good consistency to it as well. Would highly recommend.

Could not believe how terrible this lip gloss smelled! Didn't feel nice either, tossed it after attempting to use it twice. I say pass!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hint of color, lovely feel, March 29, 2011

This lip balm feels so nice, I'm very pleased with it. It's moisturizing, smells like berries, and doesn't have the glittery, pasty texture of others I've tried. The color is a subtle, sheer rose and I imagine it would work well with any complexion. Not too dark or purple, it just enhances the natural color of my lips.

5.0 out of 5 stars Savannah Bee Lip Balm, August 14, 2008
This is a great product for lip gloss..Not sticky and natural. Just the right hint of a natural color. Thank you for your product.
