5.0 out of 5 stars Great Movie, October 16, 2008
This review is from: To Save the Children (DVD)
Very suspenseful movie. Richard Thomas is such a versatile actor. He can be so chillingly scary as in "To Save the Children" and "Stalking Laura". But he can also play a kind role as in "The Christmas Box". If you like suspenseful movies or Richard Thomas as an actor, this is definately a must see movie.

Stalking Laura is based on a true story and I believe that this movie is as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful true story!, March 30, 2011

This is a wonderful true story. I remember it happening, living not too far from where it happened. (I am in northern Utah and the town of Cokeville, Wyoming, where this occurred is in the west, not far from the Idaho border.)

Interestingly, what was left out, was that the children reported seeing and hearing angels instructing them where to go and what to do to avoid getting hurt by the blast. Whatever your belief system is, this is something that many children actually reported. Very interesting, isn't it?

Miraculously, a bomb that should have destroyed an entire school, did relatively little damage, and the only casulties were the kidnapper and his wife. "To Save the Children" is a wonderful addition to any DVD collection, and I would buy it again or recommend it in a heartbeat.
