Came across this book and have used it as a visual training aid. As a Certified Home Energy Rater I was pleasantly surprised to find it has all the correct information and visual aids to help train auditrs and explain common, yet difficult to understand home energy problems to homeowners. The book is great!

i actually DID some of the projects in this book! at least i assume this is the book that gave me the idea of putting Pipe Insulation around my hot water pipes... and draft stoppers behind my outlets. i think that's all i did from this book - but - that right there is 2 more projects than i've done out of the other books like this that i've gotten. regardless of my inertness, i LOVE family handyman project books. and: i LOVE saving money! projects written in a way that convinces me i COULD do them - this book basically has everything i like about books like this.
