Editorial Reviews

Review

"Delightful! Highly entertaining. We all have learned lessons from life, but few possess the ability to share them in such a fun way. Reading this book will make you think some and laugh a lot." -- Reg A. Forder, founder of American Christian Writers

"I find myself re-reading parts of Save Me, which is a measure of having really enjoyed it the first time." -- A reader from Golden Valley, Minnesota

"I want to thank you for the wonderful book, 'Save Me, I Fell in the Carpool'. When I picked it up, I figured it would be short stories about how our children drive us crazy. I like to read these books while I'm waiting to pick up one of my ten children from their many activities. I got so much more than I expected!" -- A reader from Sandown, New Hampshire

"In 'Save Me, I Fell in the Carpool', Nancy Moser opens the door to her home and her heart to reveal a delightfully warm, humorous and faith-filled attitude toward life. Nancy endears herself to us all as she humbly admits her missteps as a wife and mother and learns again and again that God forgives and loves us anyway." -- Diana L. James, Speaker/Writer and Compiler of Whatever Happens, You, Too, Can BOUNCE Back

"Nancy Moser fills her stories with words of wisdom. She reminds us that as we provide for our children, God provides for us, and in return he expects our love. Mothers of every age will enjoy these heartwarming stories." -- Susan Titus Osborn, Editor, The Christian Communicator

"Nancy Moser has that rare and wonderful ability to make us laugh as we recognize ourselves and our foibles and rejoice as we understand a new truth about our loving God. Carpool is a warm delight of a book." -- Gayle Roper, author Enough! Caught in the Middle

"Overwhelmed? Feel like you could use a good laugh break? Nancy Moser will get you laughing and thinking about parenthood, life, spiritual matters, and more. This book is a life preserver for those drowning in the carpool." -- Martha Bolton, Bob Hope staff writer, Emmy nominee, and author of 24 books of humor.

"The wisdom and wit our your messages lift and inspire me." -- A reader from Olathe, Kansas

"The writing style is full of humor, humility, and a day-to-day relationship with God." -- A reader from Lincoln, Nebraska

About the Author

Nancy has written two books of inspirational humor besides "Save Me": "Motherhood: A Celebration of Blessings & Blunders", and its new companion book, "Expecting: A Celebration of Waiting & Wonder". Recently released was the first novel in her Mustard Seed Christian fiction series entitled, "The Invitation". She has had over 50 articles published in such magazines as Today's Christian Women, Marriage Partnership, and Good Housekeeping. Nancy has a monthly parenting column in Living with Teenagers. She teaches humor and novel writing at a regional college and is an inspirational speaker.

Nancy has been married twenty-three years--to the same man. She and Mark have three children: 20, 17 and 13, which means they have a zillion years experience in the wonders and pitfalls of parenting (or maybe it just seems that long). She needlepoints voraciously, kills all her houseplants, and can wire an electrical fixture without shocking herself. She is a fan of anything antique--humans included.

Short, easy-to-read pieces that really hit home. I could relate. I liked the humor combined with the spiritual lesson. The people lived their faith in every day circumstances. It made me laugh and cry. Covered kids of all ages, relatives and a woman's personal spiritual walk.

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll read it again and again!, August 7, 2000
This review is from: Save Me, I Fell in the Car Pool (Paperback)
Nancy Moser's take on the life of the typical wife and mom is right on! She is the master of the clever turn of phrase and her insight into family relationships is keen. You'll take away incredible encouragment from this book but reading it feels like plain ol' fun! Lots of real-life examples, plenty of spiritual 'food'. Highly recommended.
