I have seen the Pat McGee Band 4 times LIVE in the last 2 years. I think they are incredible peformers and even though the album is fantastic, you just can't feel the vibes from this group until you see them live. This album is incredible and I love every single song. It's good clean cut beautiful music that my whole family can enjoy. With so much stuff out there on the radio that isn't good for my young children to listen to, PMB has an original sound that even my 2, 4, and 6 year olds can sing along to. BUY THIS CD and all the others. And when you've memorized all the words, GO SEE THEM LIVE. You'll thank me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Voice, Catchy Songs, Upbeat Melodies!, May 31, 2010

Pat McGee Band is a talented band, with catchy songs and upbeat melodies! I love just playing Pat McGee on the road or at home when I need some energetic yet touching and uplifting songs. His music and voice are similar to artists such as Sister Hazel, Train, Vertical Horizon, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Virginia Coalition. Just makes me feel good and happy when I listen to their music.

This cd and the These Days Virginia Sessions album are my favorite! Especially Elizabeth, Come Back Home, and All Over You (These Days), and Must Have Been Love, Don't Give Up, Annabel, and Now Acoustic version (Save Me).

I've heard good things about their live performances - intimate and entertaining - and I actually plan on going in July in Portland, OR. Should be some really good talent!

4.0 out of 5 stars Like their older stuff better, January 9, 2007

If you like the college band sound that the Pat McGee Band had in their previous efforts, you will be disappointed. I had to listen to this about 4 times before I decided I liked it. The slick arrangement sound more like Edwin MCain that the tight accoustic sound I expected from Pat McGee. It wasn't bad, just different. Their are some accoustic cuts of song done on the album with the slick arrangements at the end. It's almost like they had to put those out there to appease the early fans like me.

The Pat McGee band is great. When you listen to their stuff for the first time, you feel like you've heard it a million times before. Five stars.
