This is a good book for individuals just starting out getting their finances in order. There are better books/kits on home budgeting that a person may want to consider, such as "The Budget Kit."

This book purports to be for the novice investor. Instead, it is beneath the level of the novice adult. It babbles obvious truisms. Surely the novice investor already realizes that credit card debt and poor credit should be avoided and checks should not be bounced. The 25 pages of Chapter 12 do give a basic overview of stock market trading, but it's too late for anyone who has begun trading. Also, I didn't purchase the book to be subjected to religious witnessing in the acknowledgements. I found that offensive.

I guess it's time for me to learn how to get millions on my own since I won't be winning supper lotto. I have spent so much money on all the short cuts and I am as far from a comfortable as far can be. After reading this book at least I have hope and a plan...a whole lot more than six wrong numbers.

This book is wonderful. It never assumes knowledge, but it doesn't insult intelligence. I particularly enjoyed the very simple and basic task of penciling my budget as I did learning about stochastic, MACD, etc... What more can I ask for?

After reading the first ten pages, my reaction was " I know that...That's obvious." I'm glad I kept reading because I came across very challenging issues that suddenly weren't so obvious.

I really liked it. Most issues hit home for me so this one's for me baby

I am inspired to clean up my act and start saving my money. I never really thought about handling money as described in this book. I was the 'make it and spend it' kind a' guy. After reading this book, I'm reluctant to spend it foolishly. Instead, I'm looking to invest it wisely.

I am satisfied with this book. I think I'm at the point in my life where I have to start making sound decisions regarding my money. This is a good start for me.

I have read the book twice. It offers wonderful approahes that can't hurt. I am not your most experienced investor, but I do know a little bit about the market... so I guess this one is for me.

Books satisfy interests. Everyone doesn't have the same interest, and therefore everybook is not for everyone. But if your interested in the fundamentals of personal finance and investments, get this book!
