Maybe it was out of boredom or just curiosity but i did a search for this album on the internet today. Surprisingly i found no reviews. Just mentions of it being an "immature effort" Its dissapointing to me that no one is familiar with this album. I picked this up used when i was about 12 at a rhino records and loved it. I was just getting into punk and hardcore and this branched me off. It led me to other awesome Revelation bands like Into Another, Burn, Quicksand, Kiss it Goodbye, Iceburn etc. Needless to say this is an awesome album. They are a three piece but play with the intensity of 6 men. Songs are tight, precise, and melodic without being cheese. The riffs are interesting and well written. It reminds me of a sped up Quicksand with some Jawbox and old DC hardcore thrown in. The main thing i love about it is definitly the guitar work. The riffs twist and change and the flow of everything is well executed. I've heard their later albums and there was nothing that grabbed me like on this one. They had something here. Maybe i'm just being sentimental. But i'm pretty sure i'd love it just the same if i heard it for the first time today.
