Not sure why this says it was released in 1999. Maybe it's an import version, as I was listening to this album more than a decade ago.

In any case, it's excellent. If you like Spirit of the West's style, this is certainly one of their best albums, if not the best. It's easily listenable from start to finish.

This is a band I have liked since the late 80's. They are from Canada, and have never really made it big in the States like so many other Canadian bands, (barenaked ladies, Nickelback, Rush, etc), but this band is one of the most energetic, exciting, and talented bands you'll ever hear. I strongly urge you to check out Spirit Of The West.

How could you go wrong with Spirit of the West? I had loved this music when it came out originally on tape, but I no longer had a means to play the tape and was thrilled to finally listen to it again. Political and humourous and beautiful musically, they always inspire me.
