5.0 out of 5 stars New Ace of Base Girl
Her songs sounds like an "Ace Of Base" album. Her voice sounds something between the lead singer of the group and Faye from "Play".

1.-Loving You Is Not Easy-8-Is an upbeat song really catchy. The rap is a bit annoying but is a cool song.A bit tirde of it though.
2.-Save Your Kisses For Me-9-Her third single and a top 20 single. Is upbeat and catchy but it...

I'm probably not the target audience for this music, as my tastes run toward music of more depth. But as light bubblegum music goes, this is better than most. The songs are melodically simple and lyrically banal: All of the songs are typical "girl meets boy, girl breaks up with boy" lyrics; and the songs are so cookie-cutter that they kind of mush together--in fact,...

1.-Loving You Is Not Easy-8-Is an upbeat song really catchy. The rap is a bit annoying but is a cool song.A bit tirde of it though.
2.-Save Your Kisses For Me-9-Her third single and a top 20 single. Is upbeat and catchy but it sounds like her previous singles
3.-Young Hearts-10-A favourite.I absolutely love this song!It could be an awesome single. Is the most dancey song from the album and it's so catchy!
4.-Why-7,5-Her first single and a top 40 one. It's catchy and upbeat, really cool vocals but it has poor meaning. It's repetitive too.
5.-More And More-8-At first I didn't liked it.Is a different sound from her.Is more pop than others one and more slowly. Her vocals are great
6.-Sunshine After Rain-9-Her real ballad on the album. This sounds soooo sweet and her voice is so cool.I wish this could be a future single. It's only a guitar on it and a few effects and her voice.Sounds really great and the lyrics are wonderful.
7.-It's Over Now-10-I have heard this song sooooooooo many times. Her second single and her biggest hit.is a summer song with great vocals and beats.I really love the chrous and the "lalala" part in the song.
8.-Suddenly-9,5-Another "Ace of Base" style, more slowly but upbeat too.Her voice sounds awesome and this can be a single too!.I really love the chrous and when she sings "You're all I ever and it's now or never, you're forever the only one".
9.-I'm Just A Little Bit Shy-9-A sad song, but it's not a ballad. It's catchy and the music is amazing!.It's just that the lyrics are a bit annoying.
10.-Hold Me Closer-8,5-A song that Britney could sing.Is a pop track really catchy and upbeat. The vocals are great in this song
11.-Young & Carefree-4-The worst song by far.I just don't like it.The best in this song are the verses.I hate the chrous,it's so childish and cheesy!
12.-Can't Turn Back Time-10-I want this to become the fourth single!I loooove it.It's an upbeat track, like a ballad but it's faster. This song has the Best Lyrics by farin the album. You can really hear her voice here,'she sings it sooo well. The chrous is amazing:"Being with him,and looking at him,I'm thinking of you, wherever you do,I'm telling the truth,my heart is with you,I wanna go back but I can't do that,Cause I crossed the line,And I can't turn back time".It's so lovely and different for the rest of the songs.
13.-Rollercoaster Ride-10-A grower one!!Another upbeat song more slowly but reallyc atchy. Her voice sounds really cool and the chrous is superb!.You have to listen to numbers #12,#7,#8,#13.
14.-More Than Friends-7,5-A really strange song.It has such a weird beats!But it's ok and it's very different.It has a great meaning too.

BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!She's the best

Hi, I'm from Mexico and I listened the Natasha Thomas Album last month over the internet. I think she is a great danish singer, I love all her songs. I known her since I saw the Lacoste commercials on TV, the one announcing the brand and the other one that announces the "Touch of Pink" Perfume. I recommend the songs "It's over now", "Save the kisses for me" and " Why (does your love)". I love her!!!!! She is beautiful!!!! She looks like an angel!!!!

I'm probably not the target audience for this music, as my tastes run toward music of more depth. But as light bubblegum music goes, this is better than most. The songs are melodically simple and lyrically banal: All of the songs are typical "girl meets boy, girl breaks up with boy" lyrics; and the songs are so cookie-cutter that they kind of mush together--in fact, they're so identical, "Let Me Show You the Way" and the title track are the exact same song with different lyrics! Still, unlike other selections from the genre (Britney Spears, et al), I find all of the songs at least acceptable, and some, like "Rollercoaster Ride," "Loving You Is Not Easy," and "Young Hearts" quite enjoyable.

But the import price is worth it ONLY if you get the enhanced version with the music videos. Natasha is gorgeous, and the videos show Her off in a swimsuit, tight jeans, short shorts, and a cheerleader outfit. The downside is that the video player on the disc does not include a freeze-frame function (even more inexecusable, it includes no rewind or fast forward--what the heck?!). But if you don't blink, you do get to see a couple of nice butt shots in the "Save Your Kisses" video. That alone is worth the price.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for Pop, May 29, 2005
This review is from: Save Your Kisses (Audio CD)
I pride myself in having outgrown my "pop" years, but quite frankly, every now and then I listen to pop for it's catchy tunes (which you must admit, even when it's bad, it gets stuck in the ol' noggin') and then there's the sense that you might be "missing out on something".

I stumbled across this performer through an ad campaign for Lacoste perfume. Her voice is airy, and although I've yet to see a video from her (yes, I probably am living in a cave)I assume she will go the same route as her Britney-Christina counterparts with lots of dancing and backup dancers; her lyrics are sweet, and the music is over-produced, but hopefully that's her real voice coming through.

The song that brought me to this album was "Let me show you the way", which was featured in the ad. The album title "Save Your Kisses" has the same music, but with different lyrics. I must say that this is clear proof that Europop is much more appealing to me than its American counterpart. I have to say that the Ace of Base feeling is palpable throughout the album, and it's most evident in "It's over now" and "Why does it hurt so much", where you half expect her to switch to "All that she wants" instead. (Also, "Young and Carefree" fits that description).

The track "More than friends" is reminescent of Stacie Orrico, and "I'm Just a Little Bit Shy" might be used as a music cue on a TV show soon (seems like a mood-setter).

I don't know, I might be jaded; after all, I've been there to see many popsters come and go, and some even evolve into more serious performers (as is Mandy Moore's case), but Ms. Thomas doesn't have the groovy depth of Joss Stone, and the fact that she's the product of Europop doesn't help matters much. Let's remind ourselves that it took Kylie Minogue almost 15 years to get back on the U.S. playlists, while she was a hit in Europe and Australia.

I liked it, might play it in the car, or may jog to it, but I'm not sure I'd miss this CD if it got lost, and I might not even replace it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Album..., December 10, 2004
This review is from: Save Your Kisses (Audio CD)
Natasha Thomas is one of those pop singers who if had commercials and ads in America, would be like Britney Spears, or Hilary Duff. Her songs easily beat the depth of Hilary's, and the chorus's are just as catchy. Her voice beats Hil, Brit, Mandy, Lindsay, and all of those other pop-singing teen idols. I strongly suggest you pick it up...you will be very satisfied if you are at all a fan of pop/rock music.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money, April 25, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Save Your Kisses (Audio CD)
In my opinion this cd is Britney meets Ace Of Base. I wish I had saved my money. She could have been a lot more original. I liked the song entitled, "Save your kisses for me". I was turned off however when I noticed another song with the exact same tune. I ran across Natasha Thomas on YouTube, and liked her video, "It's over now" a lot. However on the cd the man who was singing with her on the video was not singing on the copy of the cd that I had gotten. When I listen to this song now I can not get Ace Of Base out of my head..."All that she wants is... Anyway, it is sick how close that tune is to the Ace Of Base song. :( It has become a cd that sits in my never played pile. Unless you are sure you are a huge fan of hers, my suggestion would be save your money!
