Wow!! I picked up this book at the library. By the time I flipped through all the pages, then looked at each adorable little project more closely, I knew I had to own the book!!! The characters are drawn with such care for esthetics and wonderment. I give this book and "5 star" rating and just hope that I get around to doing even half of the projects!!

Format: Hardcover
This large size hardbound book features a wonderful collection of sewing projects that will truly add a homemade touch to your Christmas decorations. It has detailed (yet easy to follow) text, illustrations, photos and diagrams and was authored by renowned crafter Sandy Foose and published by Oxmoor House (who always see to produce such lovely books).

I have always found Sandra Lounsbury Foose's craft ideas to be timeless. They never appear to have that 80's or 90's look to them. You could make them today and everyone would love them. This one too has plenty of cute crafts, but only about half the book is Christmas related and some ideas are inspired by other books she's written and aren't too original. Just borrow one from the library. Not worth owning.

This book is well written, beautiful illustrations. The directions are easy to follow and the patterns are great. The title may be Christmas Stitchery, but all of the projects included in this book may be used year round for gift giving. I would highly recommend this book to any crafter.
