Family roots run deep in that part of the country that Stan Lynde's stories around.

Reading Saving Miss Julie is like setting around the pot bellied stove listening to stories about the people and territory as told by my Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. Right is right, wrong is wrong, but sometimes what seems wrong works out just fine. Well done Stan Lynde, thank you Amazon for being the modern "General Store".

Stan always does a great job. It is an easy read. Plot is not obvious from page one and it will keep you from putting the book down until you finish. I would recommend Lynde's ( pronounced "Line's") writings to anyone that enjoys a great western read. I think he rates right up there with Elmer Kelton. Met he and Lynda in Helena last summer. He is as genuine (along with Lynda) as his stories. Of course, his years of drawing comic strips of "Latigo" and "Rick O'Shay" have given him a sharp eye for detail in his plots.
