esoteric put some work into this album and it shows. he takes you on quite a ride as he unfolds a large chapter in his life, all the while demonstrating some true hip hop talent. this is some quality stuff here - buy it, you won't be let down.

This is a great story album in the vein of Masta Ace's "Long Hot Summer", De La Soul's "De La Soul Is Dead" and Prince Paul's "A Prince Among Thieves". The story sucked me in like any good book or movie will do, after it was over I wanted to listen to it again right away. The whole album flows from beginning to end, which is unusual in today's iPod/MP3 culture. Highly recommended.
