More About the Author

I live in the Denver, Colorado area and am involved in the Denver Leather/BDSM/Polyamory communities. My Keyhole Series deals with a leather family in a Master/slave household, which is the dynamic I also live day to day. The stories chronicle the way they came together and how they deal with the realities of being kinky and polyamorous in a world that doesn't understand their lifestyle.

Excellently written with an understandable story, which I find is rare in fetish/erotic novels. This is a must read for anyone who likes this genre.

This review is based on a complimentary copy which was provided for an honest review.

Having read the first book in the Keyhole series (Becoming sage) over a year ago, I was delighted when this finally hit my bookshelf. I thought the writing was well done, upbeat and poignant, and I enjoyed the character development of sunni, as well as Geri and Rutger. Being a native Denverite, I loved the mentions of local landmarks, and really was able to put myself in the book. I finished Saving sunni just a few hours after I began; a testament to the easiness of the writing and the interesting plot line!

This was the second book in the Keyhole Series I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as I did Becoming Sage. Once again I will guarantee that you will not be disappointed in either of these books. This is a must read and I highly recommend.

I was so impatient to read this after the first book--Becoming sage--and I was in no way disappointed! I loved the deeper dig into character exploration, the sex scenes were steamy as ever, and the conflict between characters is portrayed in a very real way--I found myself sympathizing with some, being angry with others, and I can't wait until the next book comes out. Alexander writes from a realistic perspective about BDSM, and her books are very empowering and sex-positive. : )

This is the second book in the Keyhole Series. After reading both Becoming sage and Saving sunni, I would describe them as guides to the lifestyle. They could easily serve as a primer on the leather lifestyle written in narrative format. This is not to say that they aren't compelling. In fact, both are raw, gritty and real - there's no perfect solution easily found - as the characters work at building a relationship, albeit a nontraditional one. I love books that take this realism approach because readers come to feel as if it could possibly be real, and can even place themselves into the role of the characters.

This is not the first erotica/fetish book that I have read but it has been one of the best that I have read. I am looking forward to going back and reading the first one in the series. I unfortunately didn't have time to read it beforehand. It was very well written and had a wonderful story to the book which is sometimes rare in these types of books. But it all played nicely together and made the book that much more wonderful!

I received a copy of this book for free. I was not paid for my opinion at all. Innovative Book Tours provided me with an e-copy to provide what I honestly felt about the book.

I have read my fair share of BDSM themed books but I can definitely say that this is the most interesting one I have read. There was one particular thing in the book that although I know it may be what other people are interested in, but I find kind of odd.

I know you are thinking, well, this is a BDSM book so it is all odd, but if you haven't read any of this genre or participate in it, you may not know what it can give to the couple. I understand that some people find release or a sort of peacefulness when doing an activity.

Saving Sunni was wonderfully written and helped spell out a little more of what a BDSM relationship is all about. It also helps show what a relationship between three people is like. I personally don't think I could be a part of something like that but everyone needs to be loved and I say if they can find love and/or happiness with an extra partner, then more power to them.

I know I didn't write a lot about the actual storyline of the book but I honestly feel like this is a book you have to read and experience it, especially if you have never read a BDSM novel. You couldn't find a better book that shows you the ropes (Hehe) and helps clear up some of the misunderstandings of this culture. I do have to say...great writing and imagery makes up an eye opening, holy moley this is hot book. :) Oh and I want to punch Sunni's ex. Lol!

Saving sunni, follows sunni as her Master forces her to seek an employment that requires her to become more responsible. She is a member of a triad consisting of her Master, herself & her sister slave. sunni becomes a key employee at a kink/ goth store, where her employer provides her with the opportunity to prove herself.
Difficulties arise when her ex-boyfriend tries to convince her that they are meant to be together, after he's found God. Also a scene between sunni and her Master is aired on the news, which leads to the possibility of her Masterbeing deported. If you like your erotica to include an actual story, then you should checkout Saving sunni.
