"Saving Your Sex Life" is the most informative book I have read concerning Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and prostate cancer. A must read book for every male that will face prostate surgery or radiation treatment in the near future, as well as those men who are concerned about restoring their sexual function after prostrate surgery. Dr. Mulhall has gone to great depths, chapter by chapter, to explain in detail the various processes and procedures used to treat ED. Moreover, Dr. Mulhall has taken a complex topic and transformed the issues into plain, simple language that every reader may easily understand. This book gives men insight to post-operative assistance that is readily available to treat ED situations.

An excellent, well explained book dealing with the continuing problem experienced by prostate cancer patients and partners but rarely sufficiently explained by physicians treating this insidious men's disease.

I met the author at a prostate cancer convention in Los Angeles, in Sept. 2009. His book was given to every man attending. His seminar was excellent and his book is excellent.

He remained for over two hours after his seminar to answer every man that had a question. He describes himself as a "Penus" doctor. Amen! He tells you everything your urologist neglected to mention. Such as; just because a doctor tells you a certain percentage of men were able to obtain an erection after treatment does not mean they were able to penetrate or complete intercourse. Another: the real side effects from radiation do not show up until after 18 months or two years. Buy the book, for $[...] you will learn how erections and ejaculation works. Most important, you need to read this book before you decide what treatment to get for prostate cancer. I wish I had, but at least now I know what to expect. Get the honest truth about what different treatments will do to you.

This book is informative and has details that perhaps the doctors didn't tell you. A must read before deciding on any course of treatment.

This is an up to date book with important information for men with prostate cancer. Dr Mulhall is a practicing physican and not just an author. A must read...

Saving you sex life is an outstanding book for anyone having surgery or radiation treatments for prostate cancer.

This is a very complete, well-referenced book that is the best single source of information for the prostate cancer patient. Dr. Mulhall is an acknowledged expert in the field, and thoroughly explains the anatomy and pathology of the disease, the treatment options, side-effects of treatments, and rehab techniques. As a physician myself, diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 58, I have had long discussions with my local urologists as well as reading a lot, but nothing has come close to the volume of information presented here.

I highly recommend reading this before choosing a treatment option, both to help with that difficult choice, but also to be able to start rehab immediately.

If you have prostate cancer, you need to read this book.
