I have been a church choir director for 20 years, and have never been so moved or inspired by a contemporary work. This isn't your everyday gospel-radio fare... it is a modern oratorio, as closely related musically to Handel's Messiah and "Les Miserables" as it is to Contemporary Christian. When our combined choirs performed it this spring, the congregation was moved to tears and a standing ovation... and that was just us! You should hear the original!

I stumbled accross this while looking for Steve Green's that I might have missed. It was listed as "Steve Green also appears on..." I checked it out. I can't imagine not having this CD. It's like a mini-Messiah. Greg Nelson, one of the writers claims it's not inspirational. I disagree. Something that touches your heart and moves you to tears is inspirational.

This work needs more exposure. I can't believe I almost missed it. The words and music are incredible. The combination of voices is incredible. And even more, the message is incredible. Listen to "Cross of Love" and not feel passion? Can't be done. A must have for all who love God and His Son.

"My Heart belongs to You"....The Experience of Truth, Freedom, Love, and Passion for a Saviour who created Man-kind to Love and be-Loved is a thought that rings power through my mind time and time again as I have heard this music.

Toughts cannot express my gratitude for such blessed music as this "SAVIOUR."

This oratorio is one of the most moving of contemporary musical experiences and the performers on this CD are exceptional. Having sung this oratorio last year as part of a chorale group, I can attest to the impact upon the audience as well as the performers. Many of the selections become superb solo or ensemble, stand-alone pieces and are as significantly moving as within the whole. While challenging, the music is suitable for a wide range of performers. It is best learned and practiced with this CD as a pattern.

It is incomprehensible that this CD is out of circulation! This is the most moving oratorio I have ever heard, and it should be re-issued and made available once again.

The talent here is gigantic! However, the beauty of this oratorio is that, while it takes quite a bit of work and a few very good solo voices, a choir can take this on and make a moving and memorable performance of it. Our little choir did, and there wasn't a dry eye when we were finished.

If you can get your hands on a copy, snatch it up! It will become your favorite also.

I heard this piece of music performed at my church this morning and was so taken with it that I came home and searched the web for a recording of it. I didn't know if it had been recorded or not and I was elated to find it. I can't wait until it is delivered.

This is one of the best Christian albums ever created. It's a musical that has been performed at many churches, and it is absolutely magnificent! The songs are all beautiful and well written. Twila Paris, Steve Green, and Larnelle Harris are some of the artists who perform. It tells the story of the creation, of Adam and Eve, and goes on into the story of Jesus. It is AWESOME! I can't wait to see this on stage, if it ever comes around. I'd help to direct it at my church if they'd only take on the project! The stage IS big enough! Anyways, I own this CD. I bought it long ago when it was first released. You have to hear this CD! The only thing is that it's out of print. You CAN get a copy of it on Amazon.com for $40-$75...It's worth it!

This CD is the absolute best that I own. Unfortunately, when I pulled out my Christmas CD's last year, it was cracked. I was broken-hearted. I have been searching for a replacement for a year and could not believe that this CD is not currently being issued. How very sad. If you have a chance to hear this, please do. You will be mezmerized and moved.

The music on this CD is beatifully done and awe-inspiring. It is a contemporary oratorio that traces the relationship between God and His people from the time of creation until the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I feel this is the most important piece of christian music since Handel's "Messiah". It begs to be heard again and again.

Aside from the music of God's voice and His chorus of angels, this is the most exquisite gift of Christian music I have ever received. It soars, it reaches heights beyond human capability, and the intense Spiritual feeling one gets listening to it is truly Divine. Buy this CD.
