If you own Marguerite's later books (or even if you don't), you MUST have this one as well. It's her first cookbook, written with love and memories of her mother, Rose. Most recipes are accompanied by an anecdote pertaining to the origin of the dish, which reflects her life in Brooklyn, NY or ownership of "Cucina", her gourmet food establishment in Salt Lake City. I've made recipes over and over, always with cheers from my guests. Make your collection of Marguerite's cookbooks complete with this fabulous First.
