5.0 out of 5 stars Savouring Tuscany, April 20, 2003
I found the recipies in this book very easy to follow and the majority of the ingredients were relatively easy to obtain. The photography work is exceptional; pictures of Tuscany are remarkably colourful and expressive of the lifstyle. The recipies are fantastic, tasty and definitely authentic.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT COOKBOOK SERIES, August 17, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have purchased several books from the "Savoring" cookbook series and I have not been disappointed with any of them. What I love about these books besides the luscious recipes and great pictures is the history behind each recipe and its origin. Although I have never been into reading cookbooks before, this series of cookbooks has converted me into someone who does and in the process I have become a more creative cook. Additionally, these books feature tid bits and background information on the main ingredients used by that particular country or region. Great photos of the featured areas as well!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great recipes from Italy, September 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had looked through this book while visiting a friend and knew immediately that I wanted this book for myself. After going to a kitchen store with cookbooks and they didn't have it I then came home and searched Amazon where I found the book. Ordered two copies, one for me and one for a friend. I have been to Italy twice and since I love to cook and try new recipes this is the book for me. I am looking forward to trying several of the recipes before we return to Italy next year. I always feel if I find one really good recipe in a book that it is worth the money. This book will do that and more and the fact that it was bought at a discount is a bonus.
