I had almost forgotten about savory pies (why do we seem to only make dessert pies?) until I got this as an early Christmas present. I read the entire thing like a novel with a glass of wine. I've tried two recipes so far (yep, in just two days!) and both were home runs! This is a great resource if you are having a dinner party or going to a potluck. I've also bookmarked several for my Sunday Supper tradition I've made a resolution to start next year! I hope the author comes out with another book soon, I'm a fan already!

A delicious inspiration on every page. Creative and thoughtful recipes to make and share. The photos are gorgeous and I only wish there was a photo for every recipe. I am always challenged with pie crusts, but the first one I tried out of this book came out perfect. I highly recommend it!

Got this great book for Christmas. I have been cooking for so many years, I've gotten sick of food. I needed something new to break the monotony. I own about 50 cook books and I'm always looking for something new to jazz up our menus. This was what I needed. Easy to cook, serve and the presentations come out great if you follow the recepies. I tried the Salmon, and my fish came out looking pretty good, if I do say so myself. Not only good to look at, but great tasting. The wines recommended were an excellent addition for someone like me who is always confused about what wine should go with what. Kudo's to the author(s). It says the author is a professional photographer as well as a writer, and thats obvious when paging through the book. I had some left over dough and I'm trying a new receipe tonight. I highly recommend this book to someone who is looking for something new and tasty to give to your family at mealtime.
