I think I've been writing all my life. I remember telling stories and making up games for my friends as far back as kindergarten. I even started a writing company Scribes Unlimited (with business and writing partner, Paul Kraly) just to be able to write all the time.
After a number of books - a couple of which are listed here - I decided to pursure my first love as a writer - writing fiction. I found a small publishing house willing to take a chance on offering me a tradtional writing contract - Strategic Book Group, part of AEG Publishing - and here is my debut novel, Exiles of Dal Ryeas.
I went to Ohio Wesleyan University for my undergraduate double major in Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance Studies (formerly known as Pre-Modern Studies, but they thankfully changed the name so I didn't have to major in PMS) and Humanities/Classics. I received an MLS from the University of Pittsburgh.
I've done archaeology, worked in offices, owned my own editing research and wrting company, travelled quite a lot and always come back to my first love, writing stories.
