1.0 out of 5 stars "Diern gray"? "eX Japan"? Yet... where...?
Wow. So, it states that there is featured music by "Diern gray" and "eX Japan". They couldn't even spell Dir en Grey or X JAPAN correctly, and the songs aren't even on the CD.... why? So much for X JAPAN's American Debut, since no one stays for the credits of the movie anyways unless they were already an X fan I'm sure.... a HUGE disappointment. I was planning on buying...

1.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect listing, November 19, 2007

"Product Description
The fourth installment of this horror/slasher film opens October 26 and features music by Filter, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Soulidium, Drowning Pool, Starsailor, Ex Japan, Diern Gray, Fear Factory, and Shadows Fall."

While X Japan (spelled incorrectly as Ex Japan in the product description) IS the movie ending theme, it is not on the soundtrack, as shown by the listing of songs available on the soundtrack.

I can only assume that "Diern Gray" was supposed to be "Dir en grey", as this appeared in a search for "Dir en grey". I sat through the entire movie, and trust me, there definitely was not any Dir en grey in the movie. It's not in the listing of the songs available on the soundtrack either.

Technically the fact that the Product description is wrong is considered false advertising. Someone (hello corporate?) might want to fix that...

2.0 out of 5 stars A Little Disappointing..., October 4, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Saw 4 (Audio CD)
I am disappointed because they didn't have a good version of the theme they play when you find out a twist. I thought Just Begun by Charlie Clouser was going to be awesome, but...yeah. The other songs were ok. I wouldn't recommend the SAW IV SOUNDTRACK!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent Soundtrack, June 21, 2008
This review is from: Saw 4 (Audio CD)
While there are some good songs on this soundtrack, there's not enough angry music and some music honestly sounds too happy for this kind of movie. Saw 3 probably had the best soundtrack because of the anger, darkness, and artists who contributed to it. The music just fit that movie, but only a few songs from Saw 4's soundtrack fit the movie. And I have to agree with the other reviewers who were dissapointed that there was no Dir En Gray (I think I misspelled that) and X Japan. While I honestly never heard of them and I thought the music video X Japan made for the Saw 4 DVD was a little...meh...it was false advertising to say it was on the soundtrack or on the movie. X was on the credits, but you get my point. Saw 3 was the best soundtrack out of the four.

I want to know why the heck the X Japan song from the end isn't on this OST. I would have bought it then.

Seriously, how could there be such a great song at the end of such a bad movie and it not even be made up for on the soundtrack? I would have bought this soundtrack if it would have had X-Japan's "IV" on it.
