About the Author

The author is a native of South Florida and still lives there with the love of his life. Married to his wife of twenty five years, he is the father of a grown son, who is one of his greatest achievements and his best friend. The author is an avid outdoorsman who grew up hunting and fishing in the Everglades. He is a veteran of thirty years of law enforcement and is still serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Broward County. He is a respected police tactical instructor and has extensive training in the martial arts. The author has been widely published in law enforcement periodicals along with Karate International and Skin Diver magazines. This is his first novel. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

This was an excellent book that I just could not put down from the moment I started. The author's background in over 30 years of law enforcement are evident in the characters and the story line. Great book and I highly recommend. I am looking forward to the next book soon!

I have now read this book three times. The author leads you down a path and then takes you totally in the opposite direction. The foreword in this book says it all. Life is not what it appears on the surface. You do not have to like "cop" stories to love this book. He has a lot of insite into what he is talking about as well as an intense knowledge of people. I do not like to watch a movie more than once or read a book more than once but this one I could not put down and have read three times. This is his first novel and I know will not be his last.
