This review is from: Saxophone High Tones: A Systematic Approach to the Extension of the Range of All the Saxophones: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone (Paperback)
As a former student of Rousseau, I used this book extensively in college and now recommend it, along with the Robert Luckey book, to all of my students at the Berklee College of Music. The book includes many exercises, put together in a logical fashion to achieve the maximum improvement in the shortest amount of time. Highly recommend. The book came in perfect condition in a few days.

I had the 1st ed of this book years back but lost it during a long lay off from playing music. It is just as useful as I remembered, a systematic and thorough approach to harmonic notes above the normal range of the sax. It also includes some info on mods to the instrument that optimise the playing of some high notes. Though quite technical , this is a well thought out book with lots of study exercises that progress into the extended range.
