Ever since "The Voice" CD, I have been enjoying Vusi Mahlasela. Love his music, voice, playing. It's perfect for background music if you're working on something and need encouragement. I use it when I'm writing. Also soothing for times when stress takes over.
This collection grabbed me right from the start. "Say Africa" and "Woza" are outstanding melodies, lyrics, voice. The complete package.
Can't say enough about this man and this music. I started my South African music collection with Johnny Clegg, and of all the other South African artists I've encountered, Vusi is in my top two. :)

This CD is filled with the richness and great vocal skills of Vusi!! I can play it for hours, and only enjoy it more each new time plays. Vusi is a master story teller and poet with amazing melodies that make his music the best!! "Say Africa" should be in everyone's musical collection.

I love Vusi Mahlasela in person and on CD. His voice (and guitar playing) is spectacular.
This CD is no exception. The title track Say Africa is wonderful and I crank up the volume and dance each time I play it. His song about Mandela is also wonderful. If you like Vusi's voice and songs, buy it now!
