Marie Digby's YouTube stardom has paid off,with a live album "Unfold",and being gushed over by NPR--and America's Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest. At her YouTube page, Digby covers Maroon 5,Linkin Park,Britney Spears,but on her new album she tries out new material. Her own.
"Say it again" is semi-acoustic,semi-electric,and completely cliched. It's the whole "I didn't think I'd fall in love,but look where I am now." Digby is a pleasant singer; she has a nice natural voice. She's also a talented guitarist (though this song's production completely overshadows it) Like John Mayer's "Say," Digby's "Say it again" is worthy of supermarket muzak. "Say it again" is pleasant background music,but it's not memorable. |
