RACISM UNCOVERED,
By VELMA J. HALEY (NORFOLK, VA. USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Say It Loud: Middle-Class Blacks Talk about Racism and What to Do about It (Paperback)
The title of this small book does not speak to the amount of relevant material it contains. The subject of racism as it is witnessed by real people is seldom discussed or written about unless the person is a celebrity. This book speaks to the commonman/woman about situations that most people of color have faced at one time or another if you are living in America. This book should be in the curriculum of all colleges and universities to stimulate honest and frank discussions of the most prevalent of all diseases. |
