Area 7 are one of those bands that started off great but slowly faded away. SITMF is a huge step down from their first full length, Bitter & Twisted. The music is repetitive, the tunes dull. I would agree with the 'anthem' title give to Nobody Likes A Bogan but after a few listens to will wear thin on you. They began as pioneers of Aussie ska, one of the few bands on the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Punk Ska, October 25, 2007

I got this album maybe 5 or 6 months ago and I still love it as much as I did the first time I listened to it. The songs are catchy and the lyrics are fun and memorable. If you are into bands like Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto, you will most likely enjoy this album. And if you're just getting into ska punk this is a great place to start. It's definitely worth the money.

I would agree with the 'anthem' title give to Nobody Likes A Bogan but after a few listens to will wear thin on you. They began as pioneers of Aussie ska, one of the few bands on the Melbourne scene that got some main stream sucess.

If you want some of their quality music go back to Bitter & Twisted and their EP's Road Rage and No Logic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whee!, May 21, 2003
This review is from: Say It to My Face (Audio CD)
Area 7 are one rocking band. Say It To My Face was given to me and I have never been so thankful for such a gift. Very smooth and excellent tunes. Nobody Likes A Bogan is very worthy of an 'anthem' title, while the first 5 songs are mind blowing. These guys are one of the best bands I have ever seen play live, if you're into Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish or even the Mad Caddies you should enjoy this album. Although, be warned, Area 7 are more 'poppy' than the other bands mentioned (except maybe Reel Big Fish).
