Great stuff! Tune in close and listen to the lyrics . . . you'll be surprised how much of this you can identify with. Great acoustic abilities and his vocals are unique. You won't be sorry.

Ellis Paul is wonderful. "Conversation With A Ghost" and "Angel" are both beautiful and upbeat stories set to memorable melodies. This is the first Ellis Paul cd I have bought and will continue to follow this singer-songwriter's work. His work is quite passionate and deep with a contemporary feeling for the next generation. Don't miss this one.

Quiet Intensity, October 7, 1998

This is an amazing album!I have been an Ellis Paul fan for about 5 or 6 years and he is my biggest musical inspiration and influence. This album is his third recording project (after his two cassette releases "Urban Folksongs" and "Am I Home") and first Major CD. It remains his quietest record, most of it sparsely produced, but a very emotionally powerful record. The first track "Conversation With a Ghost" Ellis himself calls his best work and it is simply breathtaking as is the rest of the album. I am telling you, you will not be disapointed, especially if you like his other albums, this one is a must have. SUPPORT ELLIS PAUL!
