It was December of 1986. Doug and I had just married. We sat together to meditate—a practice I had been faithfully doing at that time for fifteen years, a practice that had fed me and sustained me through the death of my son and through the loss of physical mobility to a powerful genetic disease.

Two years earlier I had begun to receive Messages. They began at the time I lost my mobility. I was in great physical and emotional pain. I was very seriously considering ending my life. Through this dark night God reached forth with an incredible love and gave me the strength to continue. There was no doubt who it was lifting me and renewing my faith in life. The Messages were "flashes" of love and of light. It was like receiving a "package" that was a totality—all the love and all the information---all at once "dropped" into my head.

On this December day I sat for the first time with Doug, my new husband and the love of my life. Although we had many a rocky road to travel ahead of us, even then we knew we were each other's destiny. I closed my eyes and touched Doug's hand. My entire being exploded into Light. A loving, pulsing Light that was alive with movement and luminosity.

In the midst of this experience I knew I had to write... Thus these messages began.

This unprecedented time in the history of Earth is not at all a "New Age"; it is the rediscovery of universal truth, the conscious reconnecting of each soul with every other soul. Within this God-level inseparability, not all souls are created for equal experiencing, however. There are those specifically joined in antiquity whose love-bonding exceeds all others -- they are soul mates.

Yael Powell's powerful reconnection with her soul mate, Doug, is the fabric of her deeply moving story of overcoming emotional devastation and physical pain and debility. And in their rediscovery of each other incarnately, they experience their independent soul missions even as they are consciously inextricably joined with all of life in this universe.

The enabling of this union/reunion is love, the most powerful energy in the cosmos. I found these books (Say 'Yes' To Love: God Explains SoulMates and Say 'Yes' To Love: God Unveils SoulMate Love and Sacred Sexuality) on Circle of Light's website, www.circleoflight.net. I know that this was no accident. Without having had any conscious awareness of the Twin Soul concept, I had already instinctively known and directly experienced its truth.

Everything presented in these books resonates so deeply in me. I am amazed that I found so much in the content that had already been revealed to me in visions and dreams. It sometimes takes my breath away! It has given so much validity to everything I had already come to believe. Every time I pick up one of the books and open it to a random page, it seems that the passage my eyes fall on is exactly what I needed to read at that moment. The messages have helped me to stay connected and in touch with my 'true self' and full of hope and expectation.

Thank you, Yaël and Doug, for feeling the need to share these messages. They have meant so much to me in my journey. It's kind of like piloting a boat by the stars and one day discovering a secret compartment full of maps that show where all the ports of call are located! It makes it so much easier to get where you want to go.

I highly recommend these books to anyone on a spiritual path of any kind. The Love that flows from these words opens your heart and opens your life. God's light can be felt through every page.

What distinguishes the books in the Say "Yes" to Love series (see my reviews) is the
purity of the voice of God that shines forth from every page. Say "Yes" to Love, God
Explains SoulMates, is the first of this series on different topics. The books are the result
of Yaël Powell's unusual thirty-year communion with God in which she agreed to be "the
pen in God's hand" during daily meditation. The Messages are of Love and from Love,
and can lead to a spiritual experience of profound beauty.

Say "Yes" to Love, God Explains SoulMates lights the path to new understandings
about what SoulMates are and how to open to yours. We are told that "you have only one
SoulMate, the other half of your grand and glorious eternal being and the other half of the
