The story flowed mostly well.

If there were any typos or writing errors, they didn't distract from the story.

I would give this 4+ stars if it weren't for a few sexual interludes described in too much detail. I liked the plot and even though I guessed the ending, it was a nice twist to the story.

Violet and Iris are twin sisters that suffer a voilent event on their move out west. Jacie grows up with parents who try to love her and each other, but fall short. Their part in the story isn't the focus. Most of the story takes place with Jacie finding true love and then trying to decide between true love and a nice man that loves her, but does she love him? Does she understand what true love is? She learns and grows up during a trip to find her own roots.

I don't want to give away the plot, but I did enjoy reading this book. The points of views from the characters were well defined. The story flowed mostly well. I did find a few editing mistakes, but not enough to have it be an issue.

Over all, if you like strong, handsome, romantic heros, or the western historical romance theme, I recommend this book.

I liked the characters, the story, and the author's style, and found this book provided me with a very entertaining night's reading. I liked it enough to overlook the author's occasionally forgetting which evil mother was named Olivia and which one was Verena. Even so, I would have rated this book 5-stars except that I did not think the ending was done very well. It seemed rushed, incomplete, did not tie in well with the rest of the story, and for a while Michael seemed like a totally different person than who he had been throughout most of the book. The author did a fairly good job of writing a cohesive story with good character development, and it seemed like she just dropped her standards when she decided to quickly close it. In summery I found this to be a poorly constructed ending, but an engrossingly well-constructed story getting there.

I couldn't put it down. I felt a connection with the characters from the very beginning. The only negative I can say is that it ended very abruptly and I would liked to have found closure with the fiancé.

Say You Love Me was an enjoyable read, for the most part. The hero, Luke, and the heroine, Jacie were a little too perfect and the love between them was too instantaneous for my taste. I prefer reading about the progress of a growing love rather than have the all-encompassing love be fated and inevitable. In my opinion, the sexual scenes weren't too detailed but the language was too exaggerated and flowery. (An orgasm was described as reaching "celestial bliss," for example.) The plot was quite good as was the dialogue and the imagery was well described.

******* SPOILER ALERT ******** The ending was good but I wish that Jacie could have been reunited with her mother.

Overall, this book was a nice, light read and I would recommend it to others.

This is a fast-paced love story. Ms. Hagan, next time, take your sweet little time to The End. Your fast-paced love stories are interesting, but slow it down a bit and give the readers a lasting, savoring experience.

This book had so much potential, but it was almost like the author had written it as an outline, with a rough idea as to how she wanted the story and characters to be but forgot to get back to fleshing little details.

too much going on and too many characters leave very little time for the hero and the heroine. i've read thousands of romance novels over the years and this is the first one that didn't have the main characters meet until half way thru the book. i did like the story but if felt more like Micheal's story than Jacie's and Luke's

This is the first book by this author that I have read. I couldn't put it down. It was one twist after another. When I thought I knew what was going to happen it would surprise me again.
Both of the guys loved and had deep feelings for her. She to liked them but for different reasons. I wondered which of the guys she was going to end up with.
I found the part about her mother was very interesting to. I wondered if she would ever find her and what would happen if she did and how she would feel about Luke once she found out he knew all along but hadn't told her.
I didn't like that she got to spend very little with her mother before they were separated once again.
I also felt that the ending was rushed and there should've been more about when she and Luke got back to the village and what happened with the one guy after he said she could leave. Why did he suddenly change his mind so quickly after all he ha gone through to try and get her to love him?
I also seen that there was a few errors in this story which made it a little harder to understand.
I thought it was a good book though and I couldn't put it down. I want to read more by this author.
